United India Insurance Recruitment 2013 – 445 Administrative Officer Vacancies

United India Insurance Company, is a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company wholly owned by Government of India with a targeted gross premium of about Rs.10,000 crores. A rapidly growing company with more than 1600 offices, highest network in the whole non-life insurance industry throughout the country.
The company propose to recruit young and dynamic candidates for its offices all over India for its requirement in Generalist discipline. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for the post of 445 Administrative Officer (Scale I).

Date of Payment of Application Fee Offline: From 4-April-2013 till 22-April-2013
Date of Written Examination: 26th May 2013 (Tentatively)

Eligibility Criteria required to apply:-

1) Candidate age(as on 31-12-2012) should be minimum 21 years

2) Qualifications: Graduation with 60% (55% for SC/ST candidates) or Post Graduation with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate from recognized University.

Note:

(i) Qualifications mentioned above should be from any recognised University / Institute in India duly approved by UGC / AICTE as the case may be with appropriate pattern like 10+2+3 or its equivalent pattern.

(ii) Other things being equal, preference will be given to candidates having post qualification experience in their area of specialization and/or having qualification in non – life Insurance.

(iii) The candidates should have completed the qualification mentioned above on or before 31.12.2012. Those who have written the examination as on 31.12.2012 and whose results are declared after 31.12.2012 are not eligible to apply.

(iv)Working knowledge of Computer is must.

Application Fee: Fee is to be made through any Branch of State Bank of India by paying appropriate application fee in Account No.32900646001 in favor of “UNITED INDIA INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED”.

1) SC/ ST/ Persons with Disability (PWD), Permanent Employees of UIICL — Rs. 100/- + Rs 25/- as service charges to SBI.
2) All other categories(GEN/ OBC/ECO/SSRCO) — Rs. 500/- + Rs 25/- as service charges to SBI.

Emoluments and Benefits: Rs.33,000/- p.m. (approx)

Probation Period: one year which may be extended by a further period of six months.
