FCI Results of Paper-I for the Post of Assistant Grade-III Declared
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the written examination result-Paper I held on 10th november & 11th november 2012 for filling up 6545 vacancies of Assistant Grade-III in Food Corporation of India(FCI).
Against 15,11,042 registered candidates 9,55,918 candidates actually appeared in this examination and the candidates who finally cleared paper-I are 1,28,856 candidates.

Please let me know one thing that in FCI notice i have read that the selected candidates through this will not get the status of central govt civilian employees and hence not be able to get the benefits of central govt. Then in what category they will come? and whether its a govt job or not?? Its creating so much of confusion. And in case selected whether there is any chance to be treated as central govt employees?? Please Reply asap. Thanks

FCI IS A CENTRAL GOVT. UNDERTAKING NOT COMPLETELY CENTRAL GOVT. OWNED HENCE THERE WILL NO BENEFITS SUCH FOR A CENTRAL GOVT. EMPLOYEE… IN FUTURE THERE MAY BE A PROPOSAL OF PRIVATIZING IT…
U MIGHT NOT KNOWN ABOUT NAFED A DEPT LIKE FCI WHICH IS RECENTLY PRIVATIZED …

I have contacted FCI, they said we are not eligible.If We passed the technical paper, we will nt b selected in the final round due to lack of eligibility.So sad.Bad luck to Btech engineering graduates and best of luck to Agicultural and other guys related to this

i have qualified the FCI AG-III
I got selected in FCI with 104 marks. Technical posts only for the candidates who has the degree in agri and accounts. All other graduates should give preference only for A and D category. If u give b or c means you are not qualified for final selection.
