State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ)
A transparent corporate governance policies is followed by SBBJ. The Bank is heading for a smooth migration to Basel II. The Bank migrated all its branches to Core Banking Solution (CBS) during 2005-2006. The Bank boasts of having as many as 453 ATMs throughout India, all of them being the part of over 10000 ATMs of State Bank Group. Apart from the ATMs facility, SBBJ also provides the option of internet banking, which is extended to all its branches for retail customers. However, the select branches of the Bank provide internet banking facility for corporate customers only.
In order to improve the efficiency of operations and to satisfy the customers in a better way, SBBJ has started Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives. It is committed to offer value added services to its customers and aims at maintaining full customer satisfaction. It is recorded that the Bank’s business has crossed the mark of Rs 59,427 Crore, with a net profit of Rs. 315.00 Crore at the end of March 2008.
