The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will organise the common written exam (CWE) for recruitment of personnel in clerical cadre posts in the Public Sector Banks (19 participating banks). Almost all major public sector banks (except SBI) are going to recruit based on the performance in CWE for clerks and hence the CWE Exam is necessary for all candidates who seek clerical jobs in any of these 19 banks.
The CWE exam will be 250 marks exam and will consists of objective questions in Reasoning (50 questions, 50 marks), English Language (50 questions, 50 marks), Quantitative aptitude (50 questions, 50 marks), General Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks) and Computer Knowledge (50 questions, 50 marks). CWE exam for bank clerks is going to be highly competitive. Speed and accuracy is the only way to clear the CWE exam. The practice test is based on the pattern suggested by IBPS.
