South Indian Bank Released Clerical Written Exam Results for West Bengal

South Indian Bank is a private sector bank headquartered at Thrissur City in Kerala, India having 739 branches spread across more than 26 states and union territories in India. It has set up 778 ATMs all over India.

The Bank had earlier applications for filling up vacancies of probationary Clerks for Branches under Bank’s Kolkata Region. The bank has released the written exam results  for WEST BENGAL state which was held on 3rd February 2013 at KOLKATA.

It has set up 778 ATM’s all over India. The Bank invites ONLINE applications for the recruitment to the post of Probationary Legal Officers (Scale I), and Chartered Accountants (Pro. Manager- Scale II) and OFFLINE applications for the post of  Probationary Agricultural Officer (Scale-I).

Probationary Legal Officers (Scale I):  7 vacancies
Chartered Accountants (Pro. Manager- Scale II):  25 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria
Post Age Educational Qualification Experience
Probationary Legal Officers (Scale I) Not more than 28 years and not less than 20 years as on 31.12.2012.Upper age limit will be relaxed by five years in the case of SC/ST candidates LL.B (from recognized university under 5 / 3 regular course) with at least 55% marks (Aggregate). Candidates with experience at Bar or other Banks/FIs as Legal Officers will be given preference.
Probationary Agricultural Officer (Scale-I) Age not more than 25 Years as on 31.12.2012 Candidates should have passed B Sc(Agriculture) with more than 70% marks (Aggregate) –
Chartered Accountants (Pro. Manager- Scale II) Not more than 28 years and not less than 20 years as on 31.12.2012.Upper age limit will be relaxed by five years in the case of SC/ST candidates ACA. Member Of Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of India. –

Salary:

  • For Pro.Legal Officers (Scale I): IBA approved pay scale for Scale I officers. Rs.14,500 – 600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 – 25,700. plus DA, HRA & other allowances. Eligible for performance linked incentive applicable to Scale I officers  as per the scheme in vogue.
  • Probationary Agricultural Officer (Scale-I): IBA approved pay scale for Scale I officers. Rs.14,500 – 600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 – 25,700. plus DA, HRA & other allowances. Eligible for performance linked incentive applicable to Scale I officers as per the scheme in vogue.
  • For Chartered Accountants: IBA approved pay scale of Rs.19400 – 700/1 – 20100 – 800/10 – 28100. plus DA, HRA & other allowances. Eligible for performance linked incentive applicable to Scale II officers as per the scheme in vogue.

Please Note:

  • Probation Period:  1 year for CA and 2 years for Legal Officers and Agricultural Officers. Confirmation shall be subject to satisfactory performance.
  • Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt extant rules.

Selection Procedure:

  • The short listing of applications will be done by the Bank and shortlisted candidates will be informed through registered E mail Id.

  • Personal interview

South Indian Bank is a private sector bank headquartered at Thrissur City in Kerala, India having 739 branches spread across more than 26 states and union territories in India. It has set up 778 ATMs all over India.
The Bank invites applications from Indian Nationals for filling up vacancies of probationary Clerks for Branches under Bank’s Kolkata Region.

No. of vacancies: 15  (12 for West Bengal & 3 for Mizoram)

Application Fees:

For general category: Rs.250/-
For SC/ST: Rs.50/-

Eligibility Criteria & other norms:

  • Age: Not more than 26 years as on 30.11.2012.
  • Minimum Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized University having completed a regular 10+2+3 course securing at least 55% marks in Science Stream or 50 % marks in Arts/ Other streams. Candidates should be proficient in computer operations.
  • Probation Period: 6 Months. Confirmation subject to satisfactory performance.
  • Salary: As per National Level Bipartite Settlement in the Banking industry.

Mode of Selection:

The Bank will hold a written test and on the basis of results the bank will shortlist candidates for interview. The Likely Centre for test Kolkota / Aizawl.

  • Upper age limit will be relaxed by five years in the case of SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates having permanent address in the respective states of West Bengal or Mizoram for more than 5 yrs (Documentary proof to be produced), and are proficient in Mizo(Aizawl) / Bengali (Kolkota) apart from Hindi & English language only are eligible to apply.
