State bank of India, the largest banking and financial services company in India by revenue, assets and market capitalization with its headquarters in Mumbai, released the call letters for the examination to be held on April 19, 2014 for the post of Specialist officers.

Manager (Economist) & Manager (Economist) {SPECIALIST OFFICERS}. The exam for the same was held on 2nd December 2012.

No candidate is shortlisted for interview for the post of Dy Manager (Fire) as none of the candidate is fulfilling the eligibility criteria, for the post.

Bank has declared final results of clerical recruitment (ASSISTANTS & STENOGRAPHERS). Exam of which was held on 27-05-12 & 03-06-12 and interviews were conducted in December 2012/January 2013.
 Bank declared the list of candidates selected for Phase-II interviews in the mid of December 2012 and now results are declared for the same.

The SBI (State Bank of India), India’s top public sector bank invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) in State Bank of India. The Bank purposes to fill 1544 vacancies. SBI is the nation`s largest bank with over 2 lakh employees in about 12400+ branches.

Application Fees:

For SC/ST/PWD Candidates: Rs. 50/-
For General and Others: Rs. 200/-

Important Dates:

Online Registration of Application: 30.01.2013 TO 23.02.2013
Payment of Fees – ONLINE: 30.01.2013 TO 23.02.2013

Eligibility Criteria: (As on 01.01.2013):

(A) Essential Academic Qualifications:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as
such by the Central Government.

(B) Age Limit:
Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.01.2013 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1983 and not later than 01.01.1992 (both days inclusive)

Pay Scale:

The basic pay is Rs.16900 in the scale of Rs.14500-25700.For an officer posted in Mumbai, the monthly emoluments (including allowances & benefits) will be Rs.69000 (approx.)

Please Note:

  • Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit to Reserved category candidates as per Government extant rules.
  • Probation Period: 2 years

Selection Procedure:

 Phase-I: Written Examination (250 marks) consisting of Objective Tests and Descriptive Test.

(i) Objective Tests (200 marks): The Objective Tests with 2 hour duration will consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each as follows:
(a) Test of English Language (Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc)
(b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing and Computers
(c) Test of Data Analysis and Interpretation
(d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

The candidates are required to qualify in the Objective Tests by securing passing marks, in each of the tests, to be decided by the Bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each test to a minimum required level for each category.

(ii) Descriptive Test (50 marks): The Descriptive Test with 1 hour duration will be of “Test of English Language (comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay)”. The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.

Note: Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests.

Phase- II: GD and PI

The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category and the candidates in the order of merit. Approx 4500 students will be called for GD and PI.

The Final Selection will be on the basis of considering the scores of Phase I & II.

 How to Apply?

  •  Candidates have to pay the requisite fees via offline mode or online mode.

For OFFLINE MODE: The system will generate a cash voucher/ challan form pre-printed with the candidate’s details which will be required to be presented at any State Bank of India branch counter with the requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee through computer generated challan form, registration of the online application will be completed.

Fee will be accepted from 2nd working day after registration and can be made within three working days at any branch of State Bank of India.

For ONLINE MODE: The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking. On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated; which may be printed for record

As we all know State Bank of India (SBI) Associate Banks released the final results for the post of Clerk. The Bank invited applications for filling up of 7740 clerical vacancies. The Common written examination for the same was held on 07-10-12 and 14-10-12.

Now, Its time for Interviews. The Bank has released the interview call letters.
Interviews are starting from 1st week of February 2013 and will be held in different panels.

Here are few things that must be followed for Downloading the  Interview Call letter:

  • To Download the Call letter, you require the Registration details (Registration No OR Roll no. AND Date of Birth OR Password). These details were generated at the time of Submitting the Online Application for recruitment to clerical cadre in SBI Associate banks.
  • After entering the Details. Click on the Submit Button.
  • The Call letter will now appear on the Screen. The same must be saved in(*.pdf) format or can be printed.
  • The Call letter will contain the Date, time and Venue of the Interview
  • The Call letter can be downloaded in English as well as Hindi.

SBI has five associate banks; alluse the same logo of a blue circle and all the associates use the “State Bank of” name, followed by the regional headquarters name.

State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) – 1880 Vacancies

State Bank of India, invites on-line applications from Indian citizens for appointment in Specialist Cadre Officers posts in State Bank Group.

SBI extented last date for registration of application and payment of fees from 28.10.2012 to 08.11.2012. Other conditions remain unchanged. Revised closure dates are as follows-

Important Dates:

Payment of fees – (On-line) 08.10.2012 to 08.11.2012
Payment of fees – (Off line) 10.10.2012 to 12.11.2012
Date of Written Test 02.12.2012

Educational Qualification/Experiences:
The qualification prescribed for various posts are the minimum. Candidates must possess the qualification and relevant full time post qualification experience as on 01.10.2012.
Candidates engaged in their own practice are advised to submit sworn affidavit on stamp paper showing period of post qualification experience, if called for interview.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit for the posts is 21 yrs. Candidates born on or after 01.10.1991 are not eligible to apply.

Application fees inclusive of Intimation Charges:
For  SC/ST/PWD/XS : Rs. 50/-
For Others : Rs.500/-

  • There will be a Probation period -For JMGS-I & MMGS-II posts- Two year and For remaining posts- One year
  • A candidate can apply for only one post under this project.
  • Candidates, applying for a particular post where two or more banks have shown vacancies, should submit only one application for any bank mentioned in column D against the post. Preference of Banks will be taken at the time of interview. Allotment of Bank will be done on the basis of ranking of the candidate in the merit list.
  • Candidates should have valid email ID which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/interview advices etc. by email.

How to Apply:

Candidates will be required to register themselves online first through Bank’s website .After which candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through one of the following mode.

(i) Offline mode (the system will generate a cash voucher/ challan form pre-printed with the candidate’s details which will be required to be presented at any State Bank of India counter with the requisite fee. On payment of the requisite fee through computer generated challan form, registration of the online application will be complete).

(ii) Online mode (the payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking).

OPTION- I : PAYMENTOF FEE (OFFLINE):
i) Candidates should first scan their photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature.
ii) Candidates to visit Bank’s website and open the appropriate Online Application Format, available in the ‘Recruitment link‘. This link will be activated from October 8, 2012 onwards.

OPTION- II : PAYMENT OF FEES : [ONLINE] :
I.No fee payment challan will be generated. Fee payment will have to made online through payment gateway available thereat.
II. After ensuring the correctness of the particulars of the application form candidates are required to pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application, following the instructions available on the screen.
