Selection will be made on the basis of performance in IBPS score in each test and/ in aggregate in the common written examination conducted for public sector Bank for specialist Officer conducted by IBPS in March 2012 and personal interview. Some of the major lob responsibility of the Assistant Manager are:

HO guidelines and its dovetailing into District Credit Plan. Collect all relevant data relating to different sectors from the concerned line departments of the State Government. The AM has to devise suitable sector specific formats for collecting the data.

2) Promotional and developmental functions — Regularly follow up with tire Lead District Manager for status at submission of Lead Bank Reports, attend various coordination meetings like District Credit Committee(DCC) /District Level Review Committee(DLRC)/ Standing Committee,Block Level Bankers’ Committee (BLBC) regularly and ensure submission of reports.

3. Monitoring of schemes/programmes like Rural Infrastructure Development Fund(RIDF), Watershed Development Fund(WDF), Non-Farm Sector (NFS) Programmes, etc.-

  • Explain the various promotional schemes available from NABARD to NGO’s/Self help Promoting Institutions (SHPI) and help agency prepare proposals suitable to them.
  • Help the Bank In setting key performance areas for the district In which he/she is posted.
  • Track the business sourced by Business Correspondents’Business Facilitators through the Channel Management Software and create reports and submit the same to management at regular intervals
  • Help the Bank in sourcing business, running promotional programmes etc., in the areas in which he/she is appointed on contract,
  • Monthly Regional Office visit is mandatory.

Selection Process:

Selection of candidates would be by way of interview through video conferencing. For interview, the candidates would be shortlisted in tire ratio of 1: 5 of tire number of vacancies on the basis of their qualification, experience and age.  Only those who satisfy the required age, qualification and experience need apply.

The final appointment will be based on the decision of a Selection Committee constituted for the purpose subject to medical fitness. Bank reserves the right not to fill up the post. The selected candidates should sign a contract with the Bank in the prescribed format at the time of joining.

Officer Scale-I Between 18 years and 28 years Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent & Candidates are required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT in which RRB is located and must have passed “local language” i.e, Hindi as one of the subjects at Matriculation /Xth Standard.  –

RRB Qualifying Standard Score:

(1) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

- For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 17 marks & above in each section and
total Weighted Standard Score of 89 & above.

-For Others: 19 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 95 & above.

(2) For Officer Scale-I:

- For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 17 marks & above in each section and
total Weighted Standard Score of 97 & above.
-For Others: 19 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 103
& above.
(3) For Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officers)

- For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 21 marks & above in each section and
total Weighted Standard Score of 108 & above.
-For Others: 24 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 114

(4) For Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers)

(A) Chartered Accountant:

- For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 17 marks & above in each section and
total Weighted Standard Score of 115 & above.
-For Others: 19 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 122

(B) IT Officer:

- For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 21 marks & above in each section and
total Weighted Standard Score of 125 & above.
-For Others: 24 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 134.

Selection Procedure:

For Officer Scale-I, Officer Scale-II (General Banking officer &  Office Assistant (Multipurpose)-

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and
Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

For Officer Scale-II: IT Officer

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in IBPS Score on Total Weighted Standard Score as well as score in each test in the Common Written Examination conducted for Public Sector Banks for Specialist Officers
conducted by IBPS in March 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

    through NEFT at any Bank branch in India having NEFT facility.

2.) Obtain the necessary details from bank which will be required while applying online.
