PNB Declared Clerical Interview Schedule

Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s 2nd biggest nationalised bank declared the interview schedule for the post of Single Window operator-A in clerical casdre for the states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Harayana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra.

The bank release the list on the basis of performance of candidates in CWE for the clerical cadre conducted by IBPS in the month of Nov-Dec 2011 and interviews subsequently held by the bank starting from 7th January 2013.

Important:

  • Interview call letter can be downloaded from the bank’s website recruitment page from 24th december 2012.
  • Time of reporting to the respective interview centers is 9 am sharp.

PNB Declared Clerical Interview Schedule

Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s 2nd biggest nationalised bank declared Interview schedule for the post of SWO A in Clerical cadre for the state of ODISHA, UTTARAKHAND & UTTAR PRADESH.
The bank had earlier invited applications for this post from Indian citizens who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment in Clerical cadre conducted by IBPS in Nov-Dec 2011.

Important: Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who have secured a minimum score in CWE as mentioned in the Bank’s recruitment post and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit are called for Interviews.

PNB Released Final List of Specialist Officers (IT & Hindi)

Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s 2nd biggest nationalised bank released the final list of candidates selected for the post of specialist officers in respect of officer (IT) & officer (Hindi). Interviews for these posts were held between 8 October-12 October at New Delhi.

PNB Released Further Lists of Candidates for PGDBF

Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s second biggest Nationalized Bank with pan India presence has entered into an MOU with Manipal Global Education Services, a leader in education field to provide World Class training in Banking and Finance to prospective candidates aspiring to join Punjab National Bank as Probationary Officers so that they are fully equipped to discharge their duties effectively from day one of joining the services of the bank.

The Bank has released the second list of 25 provisionally selected candidates and third list of 10 provisionally selected candidates for admission to PGDBF course under tie-up with Manipal Global Education Services pvt. ltd., Bangalore and subsequent absorption as Managemet Trainees in JMG Scale- I.

Punjab National Bank Recruitment – 2985 Clerical Posts

Punjab National Bank (PNB), India’s 2nd biggest nationalised bank invites application from Indian citizens who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment in Clerical cadre conducted by IBPS in Nov-Dec 2011 for the post of SWO A in Clerical cadre.

Application Fee/Intimation Charges (NON-REFUNDABLE):

  • For SC/ST/PC/EXSM category candidates: Rs.20/- per candidate
  • For General/OBC category candidates: ` 100/- per candidate

Scale of Pay:
7200-400(3), 8400–500(3), 9900–600(4), 12300–700(7), 17200–1300(1), 18500–800(1), 19300 (20 Years)*
*Two advance increments for Graduation plus Other Allowances Like DA, HRA etc. as per Bank Rules

Eligibility Criteria: (As on 01.08.2011)

  • Age : Minimum 20 Years & Maximum 25 Years.
  • Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks OR equivalent qualification from the University/Institute recognized by the Govt. of India and working knowledge of MS Office.

Additional Eligibility As On Opening Date of Registration (26.09.2012):

Should have a valid Score Card issued by IBPS, Mumbai , of Common Written Examination conducted in the year 2011 , for recruitment in clerical cadre in 19 Public Sector banks and must have scored TWSS as well as score in each subject.

1) Reasoning: For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM- 21 & General: 24 marks
2) English Language: For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM- 21 & General: 24 marks
3) Numerical Ability: For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM- 21 & General: 24 marks
4) General Awareness: For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM- 21 & General: 24 marks
5) Computer Knowledge: For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM- 21 & General: 24 marks

Selection Procedure:

Selection for the post of SWO-A will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) for the post of Clerk held during Nov.-Dec 2011 conducted by IBPS and/or Personal Interview.

For Personal Interview:

  • The total marks for Personal Interview will be 100. Candidates have to obtain minimum 40 marks to qualify in the Personal Interview.
  • Depending on the number of vacancies, the Bank reserves the right to call only those candidates for Personal Interview to assess their suitability for the post, who have sufficiently high IBPS score in the stipulated Common Written Examination.

Procedure for Depositing Fee:

The application fee must be paid in cash, at any branch of Punjab National Bank. Before depositing the fee, the candidate must download a copy of the Cash voucher.

PNB Declared 2nd Selected List for IBPS PO Jobs

Punjab National Bank, India’s second biggest nationalized bank had invited applications for the post of probationary assistant managers from Indian citizens who have taken the common written examination (IBPS CWE) for probationary officers/management trainees conducted by IBPS in sep 2011, and have a valid score card issued by IBPS subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria. PNB conducted second phase of interviews for the post of management trainees in JMG Scale-1 from 30 July, 2012.

Punjab National Bank has now notified the list of final selected candidates for Probationary Assistant Managers posts. The selected candidates are required to report at the venue for joining formalities and training schedule on 10 September 2012. Appointment Orders being sent by SPEED POST/e-mail.

PNB – Manipal Tie Up For 120 PO Jobs – Diploma & Confirm Job For IBPS Candidates

Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE), in association with Punjab National Bank, announced the launch of ‘Diploma in Banking’ program with the signing of a MoU.
The program is a customised one year full time training program on various areas of banking and finance that is designed to equip students with necessary domain knowledge in Banking, and also enhancing competency and skills. The program includes nine months of intensive campus training and three month internship at a branch of PNB.

The first batch will commence in September 2012.

Besides domain knowledge, students will also undergo intensive grooming and soft skills training. On successful completion of the program, students will be awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance, awarded by Manipal University and will be absorbed in JMG Scale-I at the Bank. The crux of this industry-academia partnership is to help create an employable workforce with First Hour First Day productivity.
During the course of the program, students will earn an attractive monthly stipend for the first nine months and suitable remuneration during their three month internship.
Other attractive features include full fee financing through education loans from Punjab National Bank and loyalty bonuses leading to refund of full course fee on completion of certain number of years with the bank.

PNB invites online applications from candidates having valid IBPS Score Card of CWE [conducted for the post of PO in Sept/Nov, 2011]for assured placement as Management Trainee in JMG Scale-I after passing one year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance Programme to be conducted by Manipal Global Education Services,Bangalore on behalf of PNB.

Number Of Vacancies:
Initially, Bank will induct a batch of 120 students in Manipal University, Bangalore through MaGE. However, in case the Bank decides to induct one more Batch of 120 candidates, it will be done through the current selection process.

IBPS PO 1 TWS Required:
Individual Test Cut- offs should be 24 marks(for Gen) and 21 marks (for SC/ST/PWD) in each section.

And Total TWS should be as follows to apply:-
General : 146 & above
OBC : 125 & above
SC/ST/PWD : 113 & above.

Screening of Candidates by GD and PI.

Application Fees:
General/OBC/EXSM category candidates: 100/- per candidate.
SC/ST/PWD category candidates: 20/- per candidate.

Course Fees would be 3.15 lacs approx for 1 year programme. To be borne by the Candidates payable in 3 quarterly installements at the beginning of each quarter.
Manipal Global   Education Services will provide boarding and lodging for 9 months on campus period. During the last quarter, candidates will undergo on the job training /Internship in various branches of PNB.

Loan will be provided to interested candidates by the bank at Bank’s nominal rate of  interest.
Bank will pay Stipend of Rs 2500 per month for first 9 months and Rs 10,000 per month during last 3 months.
Candidates will be required to execute a Service bond of Rs. 1 Lac  for  3 years .
