  • Educational Qualification:  Degree in Agriculture or Allied specializations such as Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Agri.Engineering/ FisheryScience/ Pisciculture/Agri Marketing & Cooperation etc. from recognized University.

For the Rajbhasha Adhikari in JMGS I: 

  • Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR a Post Graduate Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree level.

For the post of Law Officer in JMGS I:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised University.

For the post of HR/Personnel Officer in JMGS I:

  • Educational Qualification:  Graduate from a Recognised University & Post Graduate Degree or Diploma recognised by AICTE in Personnel Management /Industrial Relations/ HRD/Social Work/Labour Law OR Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/Management with specialization in HRD from a recognised University.

For the post of Law Officer in MMGS II:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised University.
  • Post Qualification work experience: 3 years experience of practice at Bar or Judicial service and /or Law Officer in the Legal Department of a reputed Bank or the Central/ State Government or of a Public Sector Undertaking with practice at Bar.

Important:
A) Individual Subject-wise qualifying marks:

  • For General- 24 and above in each section
  • For Reserved: 21 and above in each section

B)  Cut-off date for eligibility criteria (i.e) Age, educational qualification, Post Qualification Work Experience etc., shall be computed as on 01.12.2011
C) Relaxation in maximum age for SC/ST/OBC/PC/Ex-Servicemen will be as per extant Government Guidelines.

Please Note:

  • Candidates selected for all positions mentioned above will serve a probation period from the date of joining the Bank as determined by the Bank in terms of Officers’ Service Regulation (OSR).
  • Candidates selected for appointment will be required to execute a Financial Service Bond for rendering service for a minimum period of 3 years. The amount of the Financial Service Bond presently is 1,00,000/-.

How to Apply?

Eligible candidates are required to apply ‘ONLINE’ only. Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID (as specified in the Online application form while applying for Common Written Examination (CWE) for Recruitment of Specialist Officers conducted on 11.03.2012 by IBPS). It should be kept active for the duration of this recruitment process.

Follow the following sequence of steps while applying Online: 
1. Applicants are required to take a print out of blank Payment Receipt/Challan.

Selection Process:

  • Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit in Common Written Examination (CWE) for Recruitment of Specialist Officers conducted by IBPS on 11.03.2012, as per the cut-off marks decided by the Bank will be called for the Interview.
  • The Interview will carry 50 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the Interview will be 22.50 marks for General Category and 20.00 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PC Candidates.
  • Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Recruitment of Specialist Officers conducted by IBPS on 11.03.2012 & Interview and will be strictly according to the merit ranking.

IMPORTANT:
Must for all the posts is that candidates should have studied Computer Science as one of the subjects in school level or should possess a certificate of proficiency in MS word/MS Office from a recognized institute.

Note: The relaxation in upper age limit is allowed on cumulative basis (in addition to the category which they belong) as per Govt. guidelines.

Structure of Interview :

Interview Marks :Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 40% for General Category and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.

Selection Procedure :

Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks stipulated as stated above under Common Written Examination (C.W.E) conducted by IBPS (i.e subject wise Objective Test) and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit shall be called for a Personal interview.

The candidates should have valid score card issued by IBPS. Mere pass in the Common Written Examination shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Personal Interview.
Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in Common Written Test Marks (Objective Test) and Personal Interview of 100 Marks will be prepared in descending order on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained, under the respective SC / ST / OBC / GEN Category.

The final selection will be made on the basis of this merit list.
Note: In case of similar marks to two or more candidates the merit order of such group of candidates will be as per their aggregate written test marks (TWS Score) and further as per their date of birth (i.e. more senior in age will be placed first before less senior in age). Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories filling in “unreserved” vacancies will not be entitled for relaxation available to them in their respective category.

(v) Once the payment of fees is made, the concerned branch will give him/her a Transaction No./Scroll No.
(vi) Candidates are now ready to Apply Online by re-visiting the Bank’s website and going to the sublink to open the appropriate Online Application Format.

a) Age : Minimum – 21 and Maximum – 40

b) Educational Qualification – A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB)

c) Post Qualification Minimum Experience 3 years experience in any of the following:

Law Officer in the Legal Dept. of a reputed Bank OR Law Officer in Central/State Govt. service OR Law Officer in Public Sector Undertaking with practice at Bar OR Judicial Service OR Practice at Bar.

2) For Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I)

a) Age : Minimum–21 and Maximum-35

b) Educational Qualification- A post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level OR a post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree level.

Note:

(1) In addition to the above educational qualification/experience the candidate is also required to have Computer Knowledge. He/She should have a certification in computer course.

(2) All educational qualifications should be from a recognised university/ Board.

(3) The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates.

Candidates who have been declared qualified in the Common Written Examination for Specialist Officers conducted by IBPS in March 2012 should have obtained the scores as mentioned on Page 2 of the detailed advertisement.

Other conditions / stipulations :

a. SERVICE BOND: The selected candidates shall execute a Service Bond at
the time of joining the Bank undertaking to serve the Bank for a minimum
period of 2 years from the date of joining the Bank or to pay the Bank a sum
of Rs. 2.00 lakhs (Rupees Two lakhs only), should the candidate leave the Bank before completion of 2 years service period.
b. The selected candidates who have already passed JAIIB / CAIIB Examination will get one advance increment for passing JAIIB OR two advance increments for passing CAIIB from the date of joining the bank as the case may be.
c. Subject to their fulfilling the eligibility criteria, employees of SyndicateBank may also apply online. Such candidates, if selected, shall resign from their present positions in the bank and re-join the Bank’s service afresh.

Age Limit

Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-12-2011. Age relaxations will be extended to candidates belonging to reserved categories, as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification
• For Legal Officer Posts, candidates must possess BL or LLB
• For Computer Officer Posts, candidates must possess Degree in Computers or allied specialization
• For RDO and Asst Manager post, candidates must possess Degree in Agriculture or allied specialization
• For Rajbhasha Adikari/Hindi Officer post, PG Degree in Hindi with English or in Sanskrit with Hindi and English as subjects.

Essential Qualification
General Candidates must score minimum of 24 marks and other category candidates, 21 marks. The minimum TWSS would be 121 for Legal Officer Post, 134 for Computer Officer post, 112 for RDO/Asst Manager post and 98 for Rajbhasha Adhikari/Hindi Officer/Asst Manager (OL) posts. TWSS should be 113, 125, 104 and 90 respectively for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.

Application Fee Details
1. General and OBC candidates need pay Rs. 100/-
2. SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 20/- towards application fee.
Fee must be paid in form of challan downloaded from website and the amount must be paid at any branch of Indian Bank.

Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates on the basis of IBPS score will be have to appear for Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview for final selection.
