Vijaya Bank IBPS PO Recruitment – Shortlisted Candidates For GD / PI

Vijaya Bank, one of the Public Sector Banks, with Head Office at Bangalore, having a network of 1300 branches plus offices, with total employee strength of around 12000 with presence all over India, selected candidates for GD/PI from Candidates who have qualified in the Common Written Examination (CWE)-PO/MT- conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in 2011-12 and applied for the posts of 894 Probationary Assistant Manager (JMG-S-I) in Officers Cadre.
Bank will interview 4800 candidates for 894 Probationary Assistant Manager posts. Interviews will start from 21 Aug 2012 at different centers in India.

In Group Discussion, Bank will check Communication skills, Analytical skills, personality traits etc of the candidates. Maximum Marks will be 50. Candidates should secure a minimum of 40% (35% for reserved category candidates) i.e. Minimum 20 (17.5 for reserved category candidates) marks in the Group Discussion to be merit listed.

The interview shall be conducted to assess the personality traits having bearing on interpersonal competence, emotional stability, adaptability, courtesy, self confidence & temperament, positive attitude towards work/ people and communication skills etc. Maximum marks for interview shall be 100 with minimum qualifying marks of 40% (35% in case of Reserved Category candidates, as per GOI guidelines.)

Final selection will be on the basis of the merit ranking reckoned after adding the marks obtained in the Total Weighted Score in the CWE, Group Discussion and/or Interview.

Dena Bank Released Waiting List of IBPS PO Candidates

Dena Bank, a premier Nationalised Bank has released the waiting List for its PO Candidates. Dena Bank had announced 500 IBPS PO Vacancies in May 2012. Interview results for these post were declared in June 2012. Interviews for these posts were held between 21 May-27 May at various locations across India as selected by the applicants.
Now the bank has released the waiting list of candidates who are invited to join as Probationary Officers (PO). Bank has also released the final cutoff marks list categorywise (including interview marks) which are as follows:

PNB – Manipal Tie Up For 120 PO Jobs – Diploma & Confirm Job For IBPS Candidates

Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE), in association with Punjab National Bank, announced the launch of ‘Diploma in Banking’ program with the signing of a MoU.
The program is a customised one year full time training program on various areas of banking and finance that is designed to equip students with necessary domain knowledge in Banking, and also enhancing competency and skills. The program includes nine months of intensive campus training and three month internship at a branch of PNB.

The first batch will commence in September 2012.

Initially, Bank will induct a batch of 120 students in Manipal University, Bangalore through MaGE. However, in case the Bank decides to induct one more Batch of 120 candidates, it will be done through the current selection process.

SC/ST/PWD : 113 & above.

Screening of Candidates by GD and PI.

Application Fees:
General/OBC/EXSM category candidates: 100/- per candidate.
SC/ST/PWD category candidates: 20/- per candidate.

Course Fees would be 3.15 lacs approx for 1 year programme. To be borne by the Candidates payable in 3 quarterly installements at the beginning of each quarter.
Manipal Global   Education Services will provide boarding and lodging for 9 months on campus period. During the last quarter, candidates will undergo on the job training /Internship in various branches of PNB.

Loan will be provided to interested candidates by the bank at Bank’s nominal rate of  interest.
Bank will pay Stipend of Rs 2500 per month for first 9 months and Rs 10,000 per month during last 3 months.
Candidates will be required to execute a Service bond of Rs. 1 Lac  for  3 years .

Allahabad Bank Selected 724 PO Candidates from Wait List

Allahabad Bank with its headquarters in Kolkata was founded on 24 April 1865. Allahabad Bank invited applications for recruitment of 1600 Probationary Officers from Indian citizens who have taken the pre-requisite common written examination (CWE) for Probationary Officers/Management Trainees conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai in 2011-12 and have a valid score card issued by IBPS, and declared its final results in May.

Now the bank have released list of 724 candidates who have been offered appointment as Probationary Officers (PO) from the wait list. The complete list of candidates can be checked here :-

Andhra Bank PO Recruitment – PG Diploma & Confirm Job

Andhra Bank is inviting IBPS score card holders who passed PO CWE held in September 2011 to apply for their training cum recruitment process. Andhra bank and Manipal Global Education Service come together to arrange such a programme for IBPS qualified candidates. First the candidates will be trained in Banking and Finance for an year then will be placed as a Probationary Officer in Andhra Bank.
Andhra Bank invites applications from Indian Citizens for the following posts :

AGE (As on 01/08/2011)

  • Minimum : 21 years
  • Maximum : 29 years

QUALIFICATIONS (As on 31.07.2012):

-Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government, with a First Class (60% and above).

Punjab National Bank Recruitment 2012 – Released Second List For MT/PO Interviews

Punjab National Bank, India’s 2nd biggest nationalised bank who had declared the final list of selected candidates after Personal Interviews on 29th June,2012 for the post of IBPS Management Trainee (PO equivalent) announced in Feb 2012. PNB invited 2565 candidates for interviews to fill 775 MT posts between 18 June to 23 June 2012 but selected only 317 candidates for 775 posts.
Now Bank has released second list of 2607 candidates for the interviews of Management Trainee posts to fill the rest of vacancies.The second phase interviews for the post of MANAGEMENT TRAINEES in JMG SCALE-I are going to start from 30th July 2012.
