Selection Procedure:

Selection will be on the basis of Written Test and/or Group Discussions, Interview depending on the number of applications received for each post. Merely satisfying the eligibility norm does not entitle a candidate to be called for Written Test / GD / Personality Test / Interview. The Bank reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for the GD / Interview after preliminary screening / short-listing with reference to candidates qualifications, suitability, experience, etc.

Pattern of Written Examination:

The written examination will consist of 4 sections namely (100 Marks)

1) Reasoning- 25 questions
2) General awareness – 25 questions
3) English- 25 questions
4) Area of specialization- 50 questions

Total time allotted is 125 minutes

How to Apply?

  • Requisite Fees is to be paid in any of the Core Banking Branch of the Bank by Fee Payment Receipt.
  • Candidates should ensure that on deposit of fee, the branch issues to him/her a copy of Fee Payment Receipt with all details filled up.
  • The original receipt should be retained and produced at the time of written test.

Central Bank of India, a government-owned bank and one of the oldest and largest commercial banks in India declared final results for filling up 3196 Single Window Operators ”A/ SWO-A (in Clerical Cadre) posts.

The bank declared the list on the basis of performance of candidates in the Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment in clerical cadre conducted by IBPS in 2011-12 and interview subsequently held by the bank.

Candidates with the following Roll Numbers are found provisionally eligible for appointment in Clerical Cadre in Central Bank of India if and after being found medically fit, verification/ submission of requisite certificates/ documents, etc. and their conforming to the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post strictly.

A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) /11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration. OR
A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th std.  Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent.

For SC/ST/EX-Servicemen/PC, the educational qualification is relaxed as below:

A pass in HSC examination (10+2) of 10+2+3 pattern/11th Std. Examination of 11+1+3  pattern/Pre-University or equivalent examination. OR
A pass with 50% marks in the aggregate in matriculation/SSC (old pattern) SSLC/10th Std. in (10+2+3) pattern or equivalent examination.

  • Clerk Qualifying Standard Score: For General- 24 marks & above  and For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM: 21 marks & above in individual section.
