Vijaya Bank Recruitment 2011, 2012 – Managers
Vijaya Bank invites applications for recruitment for various posts of chief manager, senior manager, and manager for 819 posts. Interviews will be conducted in 2012. Vijaya bank invites applications from Indian citizens for appointment as specialist/ generalist officers in various scales/ fields. Candidates can apply online through the official website of Vijaya Bank.

Pay Scale / Salary
- Officer In MMG-S-2:- Rs.19400 To 28100= Rs.33258 (Include DA,CCA)
- Officer In MMG-S-3:- Rs.25700 To Rs.31500=Rs.43883 (Include DA, CCA)
- Officer In SMG-S-4:- Rs.30600 To Rs.36200=Rs. 52147 (Include DA, CCA)
Eligibilty Criteria
The criteria varies for each post based on the job profile. Basic criteria include:
- Minimum age – 21 yrs
- Maximum age – 35 yrs(Scale II), 37 yrs (Scale III), 40 yrs (Scale IV) as on Nov 22,2011.
- Experience of minimum 2 years in Banks/ Financial Institutions (no. of yrs may increase for senior posts)
Fees
- Rs 300 – OBC
- Rs 50 SC/ST
Selection Process
Since the positions are for senior/middle management, there will be no written test.

I have come to know that, Work order/ selection letter already been dispatched for all scale (II, III, IV). This is completly wrong selection procedure followed by the bank. Selection letter sent to selected candidate before updating/ publishing the result in web site/ newspaper. I have appeared for Scale II and scale III GB interview.
I also come to know that, Banks Union are opposed/against to this recruitment process and Now Banks Management acting accordingly….

i just spoke to VB head office they told me that for scale 2 results it will take another 3 to 4 days .in their side list not yet finalised.

By e-mail inform higher authority about this issue of ‘Delay in declaration of result on Web-site’.If All candidate do same can create pressure on Bank Management to do Recruitment process proper way. E-mail ids are given on contact us Section of Vijayabank site.
Not sure about scale II BUT BUT 2 weeks back i spoke to few senior mgt official. They said, No letter is pending to send to the selected candidate.
2 Months ago Management refused to follow the Banks union’s openion with regard to Selection process is concern. In last month one of my friend called senior HR and told me that, Management accepted Banks union’s demand/selection process modification……Banks Mgt follows Banks Union decision…( One of there demand is New candidate should start from Scale I positions)
Now Banks HR/Mgt says that, Due to some technical reason they are not able to upload the result.. BUT BUT technical reason is not big problem it can be resolved in one or two days… or else atleast they can give public notice before sending selection letter.
Even one of my close friend works in Technical Department V Bank.
Some of My friends are about to give complaints to RTI and RBI… There may chance that, those who are not received Selection letter due to postal delay or some other reason will receive the letter soon….
