UCO Bank Recruitment 2012 – 1100 IBPS PO Jobs
UCO Bank is a public sector bank and is headquartered in Kolkata. The bank has 35 regional offices and more than 2200 branches spread all over India with over 25000 employees. The bank invites online application for the post of probationary officers (IBPS PO) in Junior Management Grade scale – I from candidates who have taken the Common Written Examinations (CWE) for Probationary officers conducted by IBPS in 2011. Candidates should have valid score card issued by IBPS, Mumbai and should meet the eligibility criteria.

Important Dates
- Opening date for online registration: 27 February 2012
- Closing date for online registration: 17 March 2012
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Graduate with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from UGC recognized University
- IBPS Score Requirement: Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) will be minimum 136 and score for Reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD) will be 126
Age Limit
- Minimum 20 years (as on 1 July 2011)
- Maximum 30 years (as on 1 July 2011)
Application Fee
- SC/ST/ PWD candidates – Rs 50
- OBC candidates – Rs 200
The fees has to be paid through CBS at any of the branches of UCO bank, by means of payment challan as per the format given on the bank’s website.
Selection Procedure
- Interview
The total marks for Interview will be 75. Candidates will have to obtain 40% marks to qualify in the Interview (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates).

I just wanted to ask u whether we should apply for PO or not as the banks are asking for very high cut off for interview. My score is just 149(gen). Please guide me should i pay the fee in forms of challan or not.
anuradha u got good percent in graduation n pg.. why not try for mnc.. slow start but after an experience of 5-6 yr ur package would be around 15l p.a means more than 1 lakh per month salary… reply me.. i would really want to hear u out..

As per the shortlists.. It’d have been much better if rankings were given instead of this awkward TWS. Awesome if percentile. Banking is pure business.. place low cutoffs, receive lots of applications. It would have been much better for applicants if the cut offs were indeed declared realistically @160. there are >10000 candidates scoring above that; If the vacancies are combined and calls at 1:6 OR 1:10 many will at least get a chance to be in the run. With 156 (OBC)i see pretty remote chances of getting a call n havn’t got any. I wonder what this 200 rupees are for? n to make matters easier no online payment. THANKS for giving false hopes with low cutoffs n screwing with clueless candidates.

one question for banks-india you run this foruim for students but nothing intersed for student problen here we are discuss but we are not reply from your side .ibps qualifiers are only paying 200/- for each bank but one student cant do anything but you run this forum you ask for these, low scorers why they paid from ouside to ibps.

I think ibps is a totly fraud. They only earn money from unemployed students & poor citizens. after qualify in the written exam they demand more money every bank interview. In every bank notification they put the displays the criteria of marks of mininmum cutoff with respctive cast and then again displays the final merit list for qualifying student but why this every bank doing this only strategy of every to earn money why they cannot call only selected students with respective vacancies. why ibps passed the below 150 student. this only for wastage of money hopes and time……… pls reply
