UCO Bank Recruitment 2012 – 1100 IBPS PO Jobs
UCO Bank is a public sector bank and is headquartered in Kolkata. The bank has 35 regional offices and more than 2200 branches spread all over India with over 25000 employees. The bank invites online application for the post of probationary officers (IBPS PO) in Junior Management Grade scale – I from candidates who have taken the Common Written Examinations (CWE) for Probationary officers conducted by IBPS in 2011. Candidates should have valid score card issued by IBPS, Mumbai and should meet the eligibility criteria.

Important Dates
- Opening date for online registration: 27 February 2012
- Closing date for online registration: 17 March 2012
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Graduate with minimum 55% marks in aggregate from UGC recognized University
- IBPS Score Requirement: Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) will be minimum 136 and score for Reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD) will be 126
Age Limit
- Minimum 20 years (as on 1 July 2011)
- Maximum 30 years (as on 1 July 2011)
Application Fee
- SC/ST/ PWD candidates – Rs 50
- OBC candidates – Rs 200
The fees has to be paid through CBS at any of the branches of UCO bank, by means of payment challan as per the format given on the bank’s website.
Selection Procedure
- Interview
The total marks for Interview will be 75. Candidates will have to obtain 40% marks to qualify in the Interview (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates).

Don’t worry Anil, It will take time due to higher scorer aspirants…But most of the bank have to put ”Waiting Lists”. And that time all average scorer will get chance.

hi….i have 144 in obc category what should i expect?
i m in row wid u yar….dis is totally disgusting procedure even m finding myself unable to other exam’s preparation mine was first attempt in banking…god knows wat’s next…..
ya mehar and may be some waiting list for some banks…banks are going to refund fees on no condition….

complty agree dear this is saving of time as well money. If a person having 140 score means his/her ranking is above 30,000(approx) in older process their results shows fail bt nw still u r in race. My expectation is above 140(gen) can convert in final selection. So all see this as an opportunity. U must be ready with wastage of money for apply or prove urself in next IBPS.

vishal u must take risk of money. If u dont have sufficient money for waste than fill selective bank like uco, allhabad & indian bank.
My suggesion would be fill all bank & ab jo aage(next bank) vacancy aayega use jarur bharna. All the best

i have 163 no. in gen with 56%. Is any chance for me i m quit upset. Kindly suggest me that i have 2 preparing for next ibps or interview.
my score is 154 for all the 6 sections taken together. i secured 22 in the descriptive section and could not clear it. but i have secured 24 and more for all the 5 sections. i have 60% in graduation,hs,madhyamik. is there no chance in any bank? in uco bank, they did not mention anything about sectional marks. so, am i not eligible to apply there? please reply…

sir i got 127 marks in ibps po and i belongs to obc category. but i was not qualified in general awareness section since the qualifying mark is 21 i got 19. my doubt is some of the banks are calling for interview based on score but not sectional cutofff. am i eligible for this?
