SOUTH MALABAR GRAMIN BANK (SMGB) sponsored by Canara bank is one of the largest RRBs in India in terms of total business. The Bank invites online applications from Indian citizens, for the posts of Officer in Middle Management (Scale II) (Managers), Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) (Assistant Manager) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) who have appeared for the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

- Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. extant guidelines.
- Probation Period: For Officer Scale-I & II – Two Years & For Office-Assistant– One Year.
RRB Qualifying Standard Score:
1) For Office Assistant:
– For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 17 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 89 & above.
–For Others: 19 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 95 & above.
2) For Officer Scale-I:
– For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 17 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 97 & above.
–For Others: 19 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 103 & above
3) For Officer Scale II (General banking officer):
– For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 17 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 108 & above.
-For Others: 19 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 114 & above.

- Firstly, fill up the payment challan and pay the required application fees in any branch of either South Malabar Gramin Bank (SMGB) or Canara Bank. Obtain the necessary details from bank which will be required while applying online.
- Now, Apply online. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
