Saurashtra Gramin Bank Recruiting IBPS RRB Candidates

Saurashtra Gramin Bank (Sponsored by State Bank of India) invites applications from Indian citizens, for the post of Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) from Indian citizens who have appeared at the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

Pre- Requisite Qualifications:
Candidates who have been declared qualified in the RRBs-Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in September 2012 should have obtained the following scores as given below.

1) For Office Assistant : 17 & above in each section and 89 & above TWS (for SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD/ SC-EXS/ ST-EXS) and 19 & above in each section and 95 & above TWS (for OBC/ GEN/ OBC-PWD/ GEN-PWD/ OBC-EXS/ GEN-EXS)

2) For Officer Scale-I : 17 & above in each section and 97 & above TWS (for SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD/ SC-EXS/ ST-EXS) and 19 & above in each section and 103 & above TWS (for OBC/ GEN/ OBC-PWD/ GEN-PWD/ OBC-EXS/ GEN-EXS)

Eligibility Criteria(As on 1-06-2012), Scale of Pay, Probation period and Amount of Bond:

For Officer Scale- I:

• Age Limit: Above 18 years-Below 28 years
• Educational Qualification: a) Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and, b) proficiency in the Official Language of Gujarat State and must have passed Gujarati as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard examination.
• Qualifying Standard Score:

A) For General & OBC- 19 marks & above in each section and TWSS of 103 marks & above.
B) For Others: 17 marks & above in each section and TWSS of 97 marks & above.

• Probation Period: 2 years.
• Scale of pay: 14500–600/7-18700–700/2-20100–800/7 25700
• Emoluments: Rs.26535/-(including D.A;HRA at prevailing rate)
• Amount of Bond:

A) For General & OBC- Rs.100000/-
B) For Others: Rs.50000/-

Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

• Age Limit: Between 18 years and 28 years
• Educational Qualification: a) Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and, b)  proficiency in the Official Language of Gujarat State and must have passed Gujarati as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard examination.
• Qualifying Standard Score:

A) For General & OBC- 19 marks & above in each section and TWSS of 95 marks & above.
B) For Others: 17 marks & above in each section and TWSS of 89 marks & above.

• Probation Period: 1 year.
• Scale of Pay: 7200–400/3–8400–500/3–9900–600/4–12300–700/7–17200–1300/1–18500–800/1-19300
• Emoluments: Rs.14640/-(including D.A;HRA at prevailing rate)
• Amount of Bond:

A) For General & OBC- Rs.50000/-
B) For Others: Rs.25000/-

Note: The relaxation in upper age limit is cumulative as per Govt. of India guidelines.

Application fees:

For SC/ST/PWD candidates- Rs 20/-
For Others: Rs 100/-

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

2) Requisite Application Fee may be paid through CBS Account No.78004587142 at any of the Branches of Saurashtra Gramin Bank, by means of a Payment challan.
