Office Scale-IAbove 18 years – Below 28 years(i) Degree from a recognized University in any Discipline or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry,Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management Law, Economics and Accountancy.
(ii) Candidates are required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT in which RRB is located and must have passed “ local language” as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard.
(iii) Knowledge of Computer skills is desirable

Please Note:

  • The relaxation in upper age limit is cumulative as per Govt. of India guidelines.
  • Probation Period: For Officer (Scale I)– Two Years & For Office-Assistant– One Year.

RRB Qualifying Standard Score:

1) For Office Assistant:

– For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 17 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 89 & above.
-For Others: 19 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 95 & above.

2) For Officer Scale-I:

– For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ ST-PWD: 17 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 97 & above.
-For Others: 19 marks & above in each section and total Weighted Standard Score of 103 & above

Selection Procedure: (For Office Assistant, Officer Scale-I)-

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.

Service Indemnity Bond: 

(1) Officer Scale-I :

The selected candidates for the post of Officer Scale-I will be required, at the time
of their joining, to execute an “INDEMNITY BOND WITH SURETY”, undertaking to
serve the Bank for a minimum period of THREE years, otherwise to pay a sum of
Rs.1,00,000/= (Rs. one lac) only as compensation to the Bank.

(2) Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

The selected candidates for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be
required, at the time of their joining, to execute an “INDEMNITY BOND WITH
SURETY”, undertaking to serve the Bank for a minimum period of TWO years,
otherwise to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/= (Rs. Fifty thousand ) only as
compensation to the Bank.
