Punjab and Sind Bank (PSB) invites applications for the post of clerk from Indian citizens who have taken the IBPS CWE (Common Written Examination) in 2011 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS and who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below.

Job Description: Single Window Operators ‘A’ in Clerical Cadre
Number of Jobs: 800 (Gen-412, OBC-175, SC-173, ST-29)(5 SC, 3 ST and 3 OBC Backlog Vacancies). Complete list below
Important Dates:
Payment of Application Fees: 02.05.2012
Opening date for Online Registration: 02.05.2012
Last Date for Online Registration: 18.05.2012
Scale of Pay: : Rs.7200/- Rs.19300/-
Emoluments:Including DA, HRA, CCA, Medical, LFC, Contributory Pension Scheme, Gratuity etc. will be admissible as per Bank’s Rules.
Probation Period: Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of six months from the date of Joining the Bank.
Required IBPS Scores:
TOTAL WEIGHTED STANDARD SCORE (TWS): No TWSS Cut Off. All valid IBPS Score Card Holders can apply.
CATEGORY- WISE INDIVIDUAL TEST CUT-OFF:
For General Category: TWS – No Sectional cutoff mentioned
For Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC/PWD): No Sectional cutoff mentioned
Education Qualifications: (As on 01.08.2011)
Pass with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen candidates) in Higher Secondary examination/ 10+2 of 10+2+3 pattern or its equivalent from a recognized Board OR Graduation in any stream Or Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/ State/ UT Govt.
Computer Knowledge/ Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates having computer knowledge.
Candidates should have obtained the specified IBPS Score in each test and/ in aggregate in the Common Written Examination conducted for Clerical cadre in 2011-12. Candidates should be able to produce the Score card in support of the scores mentioned in the online application form,if called for Interview.
AGE (As on 01.08.2011): Minimum: 18 Years and Maximum: 28 Years

The Wait is over and Interview for the clerical cadre will be held from 23.07.2012 to 26.07.2012 at different venues, Most probably near to you domicile center. Be prepared for General Banking and Current Affairs, Basic Computer Knowledge will be added advantage. Cut offs has been declared also. Email will be sent to candidates withing days.

PS: Its a Good Bank with very familiar environment. I am sure you will enjoy this Bank. For the folks arguing about banks bad reputation you should understand that govt organization have some rules to follow and guidelines too so delay sometime in evitable. Keep Patience that always pays. Nobody can hetch your luck and your experience.

Dear Sir,
There should be plan for recruitment through IBPS. all the banks are creating vacancies at the same time with in the time interval of 15 days or a month period. if you look for the selected candidate list. the candidates are same in all the banks.
So if it will be continue like that the others who all have qualified in IBPS 2011. and got little bit of less marks they will never get a chance to face the interview.
If my suggestion is right then please make a plan to conduct the interview call for every one who have passed in IBPS exam 2011.

I have scored 146 marks in IBPS clerk in punjab state and applied for punjab and sindh bank.will I get interview call from there?
