is there anyone frm bhubneswar?
when this aarakshen was introduced initially..it was purely to lift a particular section of society which was in poor condition at the that time and it was introduced for a particular period…even mr ambedkar wanted it to for a specified period only…it was never meant to be in force forever as it is against humanity and human rights..but unfortunately due to political reasons it is still there in force..AND SURELY IT IS AGAINST HUMANITY…
At the time of exam, IBPS told age limit is 30 and now PNB asking 28 years, it is cheating

Hi Friends,I have scored 164/250 from obc and got 64% in honourse and 1st class in degree but 59% aggregate.can I am eligible for pnb and what to fill in particular bank online form on mark segment 64% or 59% pls reply
Dear chinu for your knowledge i may tell you that SC , ST reservation is somewhat like on lease basis of 10 years initially, and it was in the proposal that after 10 years situation is scrutinized and reservation may further be extended and it will remain continued until it is guaranteed that a balance in society is maintained. And all the details of commission are prepared by the experts of concerned domains selflessly, and ministers are just way to publicize them and to earn sympathy from different sections of the society. OBC reservation came into effect in early 90’s and it is also on lease basis, so dear no reservation is permanent. A new reservation of minority is implemented recently in OBC category of 4.5%. So chinu all is done by the govt. for welfare and equality means not just for vote and all. Recent surveys shows that reservation for different sections are uplifting the society and not downgrading that. Now as your concern of implementation of reservation in jobs is concerned then chinu i tell you it is according to horizontal basis , means no other category candidate can snatch different category seat howsoever, then i think you should not criticize other category candidates anymore.
There is one substantial point made by you that reservation should be on economic condition of the candidate, i am agree with you but this may also create some flaws, likewise first of all create the equality in societies in term of education, services, opportunities then we are in the condition of saying that we are talking on the terms, and i am saying on the basis of BPL(bolw poverty line) record of govt. of india that economic backwardness is prominent in SC,ST,OBC & minority society, i am not denying about the economic backwardness is not prevailing in general category candidates or govt. is not doing anything about the general category society, it is doing by a number of policies and yojanas, but what is noticable by novices is the reserved one because that is highlighted to get the notion of backward peoples by ministers.
You are making your conclusions on the basis of your observation surrounding you not as a whole of the situation. I also tell you everything that is implemented is perfect, not necessary, but which has less flaws is accepted to be implented.
@Jiten but the actual age as on 01.07.2011 is 28 years and 10 months.

hey, m an engineer from Gen category too.i have a point too.any reserved category student must not be given any addmission under reserved category more than once..
for example one of my frnd got addmission in govt engg coll even with his ramk being 3000 in AIEEE..in sc category.it was fine
but again he got addmission in Mtech after four years, now he scored mere 88+ percentile in GATE.while i got 97.88 percentile and could not make to Mtech.(icing on d cake : his father is under-secretory in secretariet too !!)
so y was he gin chance twice in dis way.dis is more serious problem dan abusing.
dis DOUBLE ADVANTAGE QUOTA should not be given.if any one feels its true and should be undone ..plz reply
