Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank, Dharwad invites applications from Indian citizens, for the post of Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) from Indian citizens who have appeared at the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

Earlier Malaprabha Grameena Bank, Bijapur Grameena Bank, Varada Grameena Bank and Netravathi Grameena Banks were the four RRBs, sponsored by Syndicate Bank, in the State of Karnataka later these four RRBs (sponsored by Syndicate Bank in the State of Karnataka) were amalgamated to form the KARNATAKA VIKAS GRAMEENA BANK by a Government of India.

Application Fees:

For Officer (Scale I)/Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
For SC/ST/PWD – Rs 20/-
For all others- Rs 100/-

SCALE OF PAY:

• For Officer Scale-I:Rs 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700
• For Office Assistants (M): Rs 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300- 700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300

EMOLUMENTS:

• Officer Scale-I : Rs 26,535.00 approx.per month
• Office Asst.(M): Rs 14,680.00 approx.per month

Eligibility Criteria (as on 1.06.2012) and other norms:

For Officer Scale- I

• Age: Above 18 years –  Below 28 years
• Educational Qualification: a) Bachelor Degree or its equivalent of a recognized University in any discipline; b) Candidate should possess proficiency in the Official Language of Karnataka State in which Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank is located and must have passed “ local language” i.e. “KANNADA” as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard; c) Knowledge of Computer skills
• RRB Qualifying Standard score:

1. For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ STPWD: 17 marks and above in each section and total weighted standard score of 97 & above.
   
2. For OBC/ GEN/ OBC-PWD/ GENPWD:  19 marks and above in each section and total weighted standard score of 103  & above.

• Selection procedure: selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS)obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and marks obtained in Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
• Bond amount:  Rs 50,000/- plus training cost, if any, in the event of  leaving the Bank’s job within a period of two years from the date of their joining.
• Probation Period: 2 years which can be extended for a further period not exceeding 1 year.

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

• Age: Between  18 years and 28 years
• Educational Qualification: a) Bachelor Degree or its equivalent of a recognized University in any discipline [Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry,Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management Law, Economics and Accountancy]
  b) Candidate should possess proficiency in the Official Language of Karnataka State in which Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank is located and must have passed “ local language” i.e. “KANNADA” as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard; c) Knowledge of Computer skills.
• RRB Qualifying Standard score:

1. For SC/ ST/ SC-PWD/ STPWD: 17 marks and above in each section and total weighted standard score of 89 & above.
   
2. For OBC/ GEN/ OBC-PWD/ GENPWD:  19 marks and above in each section and total weighted standard score of 95  & above.

• Selection procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and marks obtained inPersonal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
• Bond amount:  Rs 30,000/- plus training cost, if any, in the event of  leaving the Bank’s job within a period of one year from the date of their joining.
• Probation Period: 1 year which can be extended for a further period not exceeding 6 months.

 Please Note: 

• Relaxation in upper age limit is cumulative as per Govt. of India guidelines.
• The result of the qualifying examination, i.e. Graduation or equivalent to graduation, as the case may be, should have been announced by the University on or before 01.06.2012.

• Requisite Application Fee may be paid through CBS at any of the Branches of KARNATAKA VIKAS GRAMEENA BANK, by means of a Payment challan or by NEFT from any other Bank to the account of Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank.
