Indian Overseas Bank – Final Results Declared For 1500 Clerical Posts
Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), a Government of India undertaking with Head Office in Chennai, declared results for Recruitment of 1500 Clerical Staff in the Bank.
Based on the result of Common written examination conduced by IBPS,Mumabi in Nov/Dec 2011 and interview held during the month of august 2012 for recruitment of clerical cadre, the candidates are provisionally qualified for appointment in the bank.

- Offer Letters to all the selected candidates will be sent via Post shortly on the address as given by the candidates.
- This list is provisional, subject to the candidates being found medically fit and submitting acceptable documentary evidence in respect of all eligibility criteria such as Age, Educational qualification, Category, Discharge Certificate (in case of Ex-servicemen), Caste/ PC Certificate as per the Government of India approved formats etc.

Congrats to those who got selected..Thiru many of guys or gals who got selected in more den one bank..they r still givin interviews fr whch they applied for..my personal xperience from allahabad bank..a guy got selected for 4 banks n also one PO for PSB but he too did appeard for allahabad bank clerk intrv..so dnt get disheartnd wait for the nxt ibps clerk fix a target of scoring nr abt 180-190 n hope ibps wil go for common intrv nxt tym so dat all candidates who quallify wil get a chnce fr intrv..
I got 144 and I belong to OBC. I was not selected. Will iob publish waiting list. Please reply

It is not a fair competition becoz no candidate below 155 can get chances even though they get full mark in interview. So in future weightage should be given to interview score, then only low mark candidate atleast competite with high scoring candidate.

i req all selected in multiple banks to please leave the way for other candidates instead blocking the road. those who scored less than 155 ibps still have not faced a single interview. in some of the states/ut like chandigarh person scored 170 got first call for interview in syndicate bank. its a tragedy for a talented person.

the bank itself can prepare the results based on considering other banks selection to avoid waiting list if one got selected in one bank the next bank wchich are declaring result must take out their names for avaoiding multiple selection and will give slot for those who are in need of job……

Hi Brothers, Ex-servicemen from Tamilnadu. I know you are also one among those who did not cleared any interview in Bank clerk till date. The reason behind this are the following roll nos who neither joining nor leaving others to join bank. These ex-servicemen got jobs in most of the banks like, BOB, BOI, Union bank of India, Canara bank and IOB.
