I have a easy and effective way to abolish caste/religion based reservation.
All upper caste boys should marry lower caste girls and all the upper caste girls should marry lower caste boys. The children born for them will be all general candidates. By this way we can easily eradicate caste based reservation atleast in 20 years from now on.
@ The Truth. Do you support this? Will your parents or Parents of those persons who speak against reservation agree?
If yes, I salute you and agree that there is no need for reservation. If you are not able to digest, then agree that there exist Untouchability.

@ Anoop. For god sake tell me how job security is connected with disinvestment. You talk about all technical jargons in economics and techies and never able to correlate things.

I never know you waited for me to explain you about Disinvestment. Rather I waited for you to explain “How Disinvestment affects job security of techies coming to banking”. If the so called disinvestment is going affect persons in the banking then everybody is going to suffer or gain. Instead of asking people what do you know about that? What do you know about this? You explain people with facts.
And one more thing you have a good sense of humour. Because you said that I wrote essay against you to hide that I dont know about disinvestment.
Rather it was who said “my explanation is in the pdf file. & I know tht u ‘techies’ couldn’t under stand anything aftr reading it… ok. read again tht’s related to PSU job security..”
To be frank I am patiently waiting for you to give me the link of the pdf file. Though I am a techie I cannot able to look into your computer for the pdf file from my home. Either you have to provide external link or you have to copy and paste it. Hope you understand this fact.
And regarding that another anoop, sorry if what you claim is genuine.

@ Anoop One request I dont know hindi. Comment in english so that i can able to reply you.
@raj,
Disinvestment karney se aub PSU u’ll become Private companies. UBI’ ll become UBI Pvt. ltd;. ie; all thr liabilities are limilted. Private company meim koie job security hey kya? Management can terminate anyone, of thr decision. They can terminate majority of employees from org. showing tht to reduce loss. Like in US companies adopted policies…. clear hogya kya??…
Kya tum chab ke chab yahan par gandi gandi galiyaan dete ho.main tum logo se kabhi nahi baat karungi.gande bachhe huh kati.

@ Anoop. Understood. Thanks. But that is not going to happen in the near future. Unless and Until a government forms without coaliation, I think in my view its not possible. The opposition will try to oppose the move. But, according to me disinvestment should be done gradually.
@ raj,
tht pdf file is loaded by some one else in th internet & not in my comp. so I asked u to copy paste tht link… & it is true tht disinvestment will affect all. Did u ever heard ‘ROI’ (return on investment). ie; suppose 4 a regular graduate student th bank job is a blessing, bks he is getting more in PSU thn in PVT. & to get tht degree h spend few amount thn a techie. But in techies case in Pvt. companies his salary strting from Rs.20000/- or 25000/- so psu job is not hve any benefit. & workload, do u know in a Bank’s brnch who is th last person who leaving th brnch….unlike in Pvt/ Govt. office, it is th Brnch manager, security guard. clerks r leaving @ exactly 5.00p.m ie; it is the duty of th manager to settle down all transactions & tally th balancesheet. & suppose if thr is a Rs.5000 loss in balance sheet, it’s th duty of th manger to findout tht amout. if he fails he has to pay out of his pocket (don’t worry some banks r allowing intrst free loans to payback such cases). To help him in this job is th duty of officers/ P.O.’s. so majority all officers r leaving th brnch btwn aftr 7.30 p.m to 10.pm (tht depend). & now tell tht joining a PSU will reduce u r work load?? nevr.
so tht I told in this page earlier tht a person (B.com/M.com) who is now clerk near his house will never ready to jump in to P.O post which is far away from his house, like u techis.
@ they already tried two times & any way it depends…but sure not go beyond 10 yrs.
bhai maine mere liye count kiya hai. mera score 176 hai to maine sirf 170 ke upper ke hi score note down kiye hai….
tumhe lagta hai ki ye useless hai to dont reply to my comment

@ amar,
u r entirely wrong. the use of computers in accounting means ‘no chance for error’. so th minute mannupulations in mannual accounting is nvr possible in computerized a/cing. pahale aap accounting ka matlab samachavo & for whom th accounts is prepared. Without knowing correctly what is what u can nevr prepare a balance sheet…ok. if any graduate can easily prepare th accounts, then why CA pass honey ke liya itna time atha hai?
@ tht’s thr business
@ i think thr is anothr one like u in this world. zarra apke pithji se pooch lo vah kaham, kaham tak kam kartha dha?? ie; in which places he had worked, before??
@shashank good work.my score is 154 in sc.can u tell me my rank approximately?
@Anoop I have to agree that you know something about banking and the way of its working. Anoop you will understand more about me if I tell about myself. My father is a retired Senior Bank Manager (Scale III). He entered the bank as PO. His qualification is B.Sc Botany.
You said that B.E/B.tech are not trained to work in banks. My question to you is if my father can work for the bank successfully why not an engineer.
Majority of the person entering as a clerk in the bank try to become Officers as early as possible by writing exam irrespective of the degree they are holding. Though I partially agree that certain people dont want to become PO for simple reason of added responsibility, but those people not necessarily always from a commerce background.
It always depends on the individual. If you are a clerk you will not be posted outside your state. So, many old fashioned person want to end their life as clerk. And more importantly though they can understand english they cannot speak fluently, that is also one of the reason for them to stay as clerk.
Your concern for the regular graduates is mind boggling. But as you mentioned the entry salary is much higher when compared to other fields, that is not the full story. This high salary offered only by big companies which is very few in number.
But if a person failed to get selected in the campus interview, then the misery starts. He have to end up in some small software company where his salary will be very low. He have two options before him. One to continue in the same job and try attending interview of other companies. Two he have to gain experience for atleast 1 year then he can think of switch over.
The so called big companies offer entry level jobs only to freshers. Hope you have already come across the word fresher. For the recruitment in Feb 2012, they will consider only 2011 fresher. They dont bother about the person who studied in the previous years.
This makes many person like a stagnant river. So, obviously he will think what are the options before him. 1. Apply in navy, army and air force or any other govt offices.
Traditionally the person who clears all these exams are the son or daughters of the high ranking officer in the same department. Moreover the number of vacancy is very less.
2. Go for any job to run the family. Many person will be rejected in almost all the companies for the simple reason that they are over qualified. We all know two categories 1. Qualified 2. Not Qualified. There is the third category that these fellows found out is Over Qualified.
3. Considering all the options which failed him, finally he will turn towards Banking, Insurance and other regular jobs.
Now we all know that IBPS exam was attended by more than 10 lakh and the person who cleared is more than a lakh.
Do you really think that the majority of the people who cleared IBPS belongs to one particular field of graduation? – say B.E/B.Tech/B.com/M.com/BBA/MBA
I can surely say it will be the mixture of all the fields.
Your allegation is that the B.E/B.tech are stopping the opportunities of the regular graduates and grabbibg their job. True, a few may be affected due to their low scores in objective exam.
I would agree with you if the selection done arbitrarily. But it is not the case, it is done by well laid procedure so that only bright and top candidates will be selected.
Failed to get selected is not the mistake done by B.E/B.tech towards regular graduates, rather it is a mistake done by them to themselves by scoring less marks.
Anoop it is not always at what position you enter in the organisation matters, but rather at position you end up while retiring.
I dont want you to support techies rather stop supporting the people who will remian as clerk like stagnant water for the next 30 years.
Anyway anoop I think we had a healthy discussion. Good Luck to you. And Good Luck to all.
@amar ur welcm…nhi dost nhi de rha hoon GATE…i think u r preparing 4 GATE…all d best bro…

@jayesh, UBI ne near about 1850 SC candidtes ko interview ke liye call kiya hai. from my observation, 160 to 170 there r approximately 700 SC candidtes hai. remaining 1100 candidates 149-160 ke beech me hai. ur rank is near about 1300 SC
@ Raj, r u from south India??
& pls ask u r fathr aftr being a botany graduate why he selected Banking & @ in which age?
In our country thr is an old system tht’s traditionally followed by till the last 4 years. tht’s.
1) Bsc/ MSC graduates: aftr completing th degree majority will concentrate on UPSC & SSC/ professors
2) B.com/ M.com- Majority will join any bank or be an accountant.
3) BA/MA- Civil services, Bed, state PSC etc;
& @ tht time all eng/Med in college in th hnds of Govt. so limited candidates but well oppourtunities. Not a problem to any one bks. every one following th traditional procedure.
& majority of th Regular Graduates strts thr attempt from UPSC>>SSC>>PSC>> Banking. ie; th last way is banking. So th candidates should hve age btwn 27-29.
But when govt. allowed th Engg. to th private. those who r eligible or not join th B.tech & passed out. & they realised tht ‘the world is not enough’ as they thought. & IT companies don’t need them. ie; over supply.
So they turn to all sectors & don’t even try to IT/ pvt fields. & this creates pressure in all fields, this destroyed the traditional employment circle. today those who r passing out from B.tech colleges, next day joining to any Banking coaching centre… & more aftr getting th job in th bank @ th age of 21-22,aftr 1/2 year they leaving th job for bttr opportunity. So who r from regulr graduates & @ age of 27 or above this creates problem (who belongs to ‘traditional job circle’) . Bks th problem of ‘age over’.
& those who passed in IBPS exam consist of graduates from various cources. but majority who scored above 170 will be B.techs. so no place 4 a regular graduates. Bks techies strting entrance coaching @ th age of 16-17, & ‘experience makes th man…..
@ Anoop. thanks for the article. I think the link is made visible only after the admin allows it. I also think that is the reason for delay. I can able to view only today.
Challenges Befores Disinvestment—
Disinvestment was a very bold and important step
initiated by the government as apart of its reform
measures. But the way it was handled has defeated its
very purpose. The challenges before investment are
as follows-
· Social Problem—Process of disinvestment is not
favoured socially as it is against the interest of
socially disadvantageous people and society at
large. This process will definitely affect the social
objectives of the government.
· Political Problem— The coalition government at
the centre with a number of parties has posed a
serious threat to this programme. Conflicting
interest has made it difficult to arrive at a national
consensus.
· Economic Problem—Most of the units identified
for disinvestment are in a very bad shape which
does not offer good returns. The Government due
to paucity of funds, is also not in a position to
revive it.
Believe it or not as rightly said by the author
“it is against the interest of
socially disadvantageous people and society at
large”
I would like know from you “Who will be affected more if disinvestment takes place? -Regular Graduates or Techies”.
