In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

@ all of the odisha candidates is there any way of making transparency in knowing how many candidates really qualified from odisha ….i found from various sources that it is 143 highest …if any cuethen please informme…….
@Satya i think no way. But you can contact coaching centres to find a estimated data.

i do have contact with coaching centers of sambalpur, bbsr, balangir….. u might be knowing some more… like wise others may be knowing others…in this way can get not exact but approximate no of students….so we can calculate our chances getting a job this time and prepare accordingly…whats ur opinion??????????
@Satya u r right. But prep should not according to that. Prep should be best of our ability. We can calculate our chances. By the way do u hv ny info regarding no of students passed. Pls reply.
Sir i have got 125(gen),at the time of form submitting i will choose chandigarh as exam center because it does not display punjab there..when i was get my score card in that it was written you are applied for sate-chandigarh…what does it mean that i am eligible only for chandigarh..or may i apply from punjab…

My cbi int was on 18..int was very gud they offer me handshake as they look impressed..what r my chances..164 sc from maharashtra..

these are approximate figs of qualified….knowing scores of these many candidates is a tough task i m not thinking to so worthless labor…if you too have any such information… post it… but 130+ are very rare…
i want to know if any qualified clerk and got job in po2..
@Satya thank you very much. Are you qualified in rrb? I have no exact figure but i have info that 130+ is very less. In a blog i have seen 5 candidates posted 140+.
@sraone but at the time of registration there is only chnadigarh not the punjab,,,for punjab there is only chandigarh as the exam center…is any there option while registration about the state selection…one other think the chandigarh punjab and harayana is considered as tricity,,,does that fact also there…if there is any cnadidate from punjab please reply me….
@prabh .at the time of registration,punjab was availble as the state.i hve also qualifid 120 obc from punjab n in result mai state is also showing.nw if u enter chd as ur state u cnt change it n in mai views,it is not good for u coz punjab carry more vacancies than chd.
@S.P.i dont have odia after class 8th as any of my subjectS… so i was unable to attend rrb… bt i got qualified in ibps clerk 1-165,clerk2-123, po2-163(disqualified in descriptive paper), ibps specialist officer(it)1-120, ssc fci ag3-latest…started preparation sept-2011 after my graduation …and has working experience of 1 1/2 years as computer operator in NAFED…AND ABT BLOGS WE CANNOT BELIEVE ANYBODY…FROM ODISHA MANY QUALIFIED IN RRB BUT MOST OF THEM ARE BETWEEN 120-140 AND IF U DONT MIND….DONT HOPE ANYTHING FROM RRB IF U DONT POSSESS 130+B’COZ VACANCIES R LEGIBLE..MUCH LOWER AS ALL THE BANKS MERGED INTO 2 GROUPS ONLY…WATS UR SCORE IN CWE CLERK-2?I M SRY 2 SAY BT THATS TRUE….

hi sp ODISHA…my score is 130….but i am not sure weathen i will qualify or not….in odisha i heard a student scored 163..and one girl scored 154…i think this year result is good…maximum student between 120-130…..so more competition among these students…
Interview also much important…..a good scoring candidate may not be selected if he fails in interview….its also difficult to prepare so exam with clerk interview…in ur view i must give more preference to which one..
@Skm yes it is difficult to prepare for so. I think interview preparation is better. Are u sure about the scores 163 and 154.
satya and sp(ODISHA)i heard the no of student who qualified in ibps clerk 2 in odisha circle around 3000-4000….(not accurate)and many of them also selected in po2 too..
so we have copmete around (2500-3000)students…many of them have fault in certificate and some other reasons…etc..so the competitonn is among 2500 students..and the no of post in odisha this year around 1500…so we have to prepare….for interview…
banks also going to take the students from serial by ibps as well as from their criteria..(must satisfy like carreer graduate mark)…

@skm u r right. Around 500 will be disqualified in interview. So hope for best. Are you sure that most of them has been selected in po2.

ibps has lodged a compliant against certain websites which are displaying ranks of Po2.
i think around 500-600 students selected in po2…and these are the good scoring candidates bcz all po2 qualified students must score good marks in clk 2….so these upper rank students prefer po2…
i think we are going to face ibps clk2 interview and specialist off. Exam both at the same time…..march 3rd and 4th week…..so its difficult to handel…
i think bank exams are now soo top as gate(engg..) exam….its so difficult to clear………
