In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. You can read in detail about the entire process – Notification for IBPS Clerk-2 CWE and Common Clerk Interviews.
The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

@dhe,
wt i meant is that in those 11k vacancies, 1000 wont be joining.
And regarding 60%, i dont think there wil b any more rejection cos of marks.
@dhe,
around 12.5k rank walon ko chance milega.
@dhe,
around 12.5k rank walon ko bhi chance milega.
@ RK Varma
Thanks buddy
Best of luck
Thanks and Regards
Tanay “Dhe”
suppose odisha candidates highest might be 160
and lowest be 120 then certain that equating with 70 will give a difference of 10-12 marks and someone doing better in interview can only get selected
one mark of interview = 3marks(approx) of written
@Satya ur 1st comment is r8. But if the ratio is 80:20 then it will be 1 int mark=4 written mark
hello good evening frnds…
@ all odisha friends… i have 124 ibps 2 score, general
intrvw chance ? and how should i prepare for that ?
regards
@Dev do u hv ny info that how mny hv 130+?
no… do u ? plz help me dude.. m totally scared out of my low score. i mean for the intrvw
@ all
any new info about clerk 2…. does interview plays a main role even if we have low marks..???
Interview does not play any big role in overall except ur fail in interview!!!
@Dev @raj i think interview can play a big role.
suppose one’s score in written is 125/200 and in interview is 65/100. then according to 80:20 rule his final score will be 63 (50 in written and 13 in interview).
suppose another score is 130/200 and in interview 55/100. Then his final score will be 63 (52 in written and 11 in interview).
written is muliplied by 2/5 and interview by 1/5

written is muliplied by 2/5 and interview by 1/5 to make 80:20.
so 5 differene in written can be adjusted by 8 increase in interview.
In interview a single mistake can push anyone to backfoot. because if anyone will do a mistake then only 1 mark will not be deducted like written. One mistake would cost around 3 to 5 marks in interview.
THIS IS MY OWN ANALYSIS. I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH SIMILAR IS THIS WITH ACTUAL PROCESS. BUT I THINK NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PROCESS.
@Dev if you have any friend who are preparing at coaching centre then please ask him about score range and try to collect some information.
Ur right but i don’t think for clerk they will take 100 mark interview.but it’s ibps always full of surprice
in clerk 2 result.we have
Important: You will be eligible
(subject to further scrutiny) for
further selection processes under
this project on or after 01.03.2013
only.
but in P.O result page they had..
Important: You will be eligible for
future selection processes under this
project on or after 12.12.2012 only .
so…there is some filtration before clerk interview….
@barunams,
filteration?
dec11 is d date on which IBPS PO1 score card expired.
feb29 is d date on which Clerk1 score card expires.
@ RK varma
subject to further scrutiny…. wat does it mean…
I think every qualified wil give int bec in advt it was “successful cand in written will be called for a common int.” further scrutiny means verification of certificate and eligibility verification.
@ all.. i m agree with S.P…. I THINK THEY will be called for interview who are qualified.. if ibps is going to do any filtration then there is no logic to qualify those guys, & and i think ibps doesn’t have time to do all these kind of idiotic stuff.
Brothers don’t use extra mind … Everyone who is passed in written exam will be call for interview..
I got 154 from tamilnadu, got shortlisted for central bank of India. Any one got call letter from cbi from TN? Share your marks. My interview is on 19th this month
I got 121 in IBPS2 clerical obc from TN.
mine is 145
beat that — it will be a formalty in interview as alwayz–
@ s.p.
agar 80:20 hua to interview ka 1 mark written ke 2.5 mei convert ho jayega …b’coz 200=70 will be 200=80… then there ‘ll be a lot difference between the topper and the minimum score after interview…
Can any body tell me how pnb is informing to the selected candidates.. Whether it is mailing or by sending individual msg .plz try to ask someone and share …
@Satya written total mark 200. Int total mark 100. So if it is 80:20 then 80% of written (secured score) and 20% of interview (secured score) will be added to find the final score. I THINK SO. NOT OFFICIAL NOTICE. SO REST ARE AS I DESCRIBED BEFORE INTERVIEW CAN HELP TO GRAB THE JOB.
@Satya i think written and interview marks will not be equalised. The full mark of written is 200 and interview is 100. So 80% of written and 20% of interview from the secured score will be added to calculate the final result.
