In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

pehle sbi clerk ka written clear karke dikha de,bad me sbi po ka written dena.i think sbi po is da toughest exam in da history of banking exam.so better concentrate on ibps clerk result.
yeah u r right SBI PO exam level is higher than any other banking exam. One would need a rigours preparation for this exam.

I gave 3 clerical interviews when banks had individual papers .. In ind ovs bnk , bob, cbi .— not selectec
ibps cwe 1 clerical general chandigarh .. Marks 176 . Intrvw gvn fr syndicate dena n pns .. Not selectec …
Cleared sbi clerical now n ibps 2 ” general himachal … Hoping to make this tym ..

also cleared rrb officer n offc assistant .. No intrvws yet .. Bcom 62 percentage .. Almost 2.5 yrs

IBPS is doing good Job no doubt marks would be suprised for everyone because it was online exam. They got marks on that particular date when they showed the result. now, they are making statistics, how to make all candidate satisfy as per supreme court order. every bank has to call 3 times including SBI also. No worried. all have fair chance in RRB and IBPS Clerk including only qualifier also.
@ jatin – is there any other way of satisfying the candidates except giving them a job

In india where lakhs of people are looking for Govt. Job. They are giving their best where IBPS has to take only creak layer candidates. u do not know but honestly it is very tough job.
