In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

You have to take all the marksheets. They asked for it in my BOI interview eventhough i had a consolidated marklist with me. Take xerox of each and every marklist you have.Take everything in original and also a xero.

It depends on the bank. If u check the Corporation bank biodata data form they have given option for the district we prefer for the posting.

WTF is dis Andhra Bank!!
They called 2600 candidates for 177 vacancies in Andhra.
My rank is around 2000 ,yet i didnt get call.
pissed off.
they will recruite only 1000-1100 candidates and u think WB will get 500 seats. so funny.

I dint apply corp bank.. Not eligible they called only graduates.. But i am called by all the banks i applied.. Boi, bob and canara.. Syndicate and iob dint announce yet.. But i hope tat i ll be called for interview..

ur answer: NO. Not at all. Since banking industry is very much related to commerce , i use my skills to d task which is assigned to me . And my post grad helps me d overall business activities of banking industry.
Rk dude they called total 2600 means gen obc sc st total 2600 nd ur rank is gen 2000 so u hve nt get call i think they had called 1450 gen and rest obc sc st.
