In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

yes u will get to knw abt this from ur banking offcial. coz after joining any organisation if u persue a course that has to be in knowledge of ur organisation.
Karti arey u mus b knwin age is pref. As rakesh n anna mentioned above BUT IF THEY CUM2KNW UR INSTINCT IN IB,u mus get it……
bank has to decide smartly coz its always neck to neck competition.

Only 2 years if you clear tat inner exams well.. I’m sure abt this. Cos my friend got it last year..

I have a doubt.. When i write ibps exam i was not working in any concern.. I resigned earlier itself.. So i dint mention it anywhere.. Not in any interview..

thanx for ur valuable suggetion.but one more thing i want to ask wt r the chances to get promotion if any employee clear CA or CS corse during his clerk period.is any prefernce given for promotion?

Go to iibf website. Jaiib mock test ll be there. Its free for all. 25 questions ll be there. It ll come one by one jus click next for next question. End of 25th question your mark ll come. . Jus try once.. You ll come to know the questions whether its easy or tough..
it ll definately be a plus point.. But should complete iibf exams too..

Honestly……bt latr within days i realizd my scr is way below 4 my state…..bt nw i vl gv shot aftr grad. 4 bank jobs n civil service, dats ultimate defnce altho hv specx…..r u oly intrstd in banks?????

no issues at all even if u r wrking in any bank. if u mention it all in interview then its n issue. and that is also not big issue if u reason out properly to ur interviewer. Interviewer always want proper justification of wat candidate answer.
