In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

boi interview started only on 11th june.. Jus one month over know.. We should give a least a month.. I think banks taking long time only to announce the shortlist for interview.. Isn’t it?

Who decides on the volume and value of banknotes to be printed and on what basis?
The Reserve Bank decides the volume and value of banknotes to be printed each year. The quantum of banknotes that needs to be printed, broadly depends on the requirement for meeting the demand for banknotes due to inflation, GDP growth, replacement of soiled banknotes and reserve stock requirements.

did they provide u training? If s for what period?
rk verma…yes sir ther is a training for 10 to 15 days in which we get full exposure..the big advantage in clerk cadre is that ,you get ample of time to study other things(like m.com pvt,,study of ca,cs)and one shud first clear the jaaib and caiib exam so that increment also increase and if yu go for promortion from clerk to officer then (jaaib,and caiib counts 2 much
)

thanxx karti for ur useful info.i really appreciate this.my father worked in allahabad bank, he retired 4m job recencently, he told me that, the increment depends on the percentage u get in jaiib/caiib xam.like if u get 80% or more, u get certain value of increment again if u get 60% or more, u get another…!!

Hi karti u seems like a vry smart girl, plz tell me which computer application/program is mostly used by a bank clerk in day to day business..me dont have much knwldge abt comptr.
I have done computer course in ms word,excel, power point only is that enough for a bank clerk.

being clerk one shuld have 60 or 90 hrs computer coures n better to have 6 months course frm a institute of repute.

@ karti don’t worry. This happens only if scores of two or more candidates going to same which has very less chances.
