In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

ofcourse yes. They do apply until get selected in any bank.if they give confirmation to a bank, they dont apply.
In the Application form of Indian Bank, it is mandatory to fill graduation/equivalent marks as on 01-08-2011. But i haven’t completed my graduation yet. What can i do in this situation. Can anyone help me for this.

i wish that remaining notifications come after final results and confirmation date. Atleast some ppl would not apply.
i.e. agar UP me 10open 10OBC 05ST aur 05SC vacancy nikle aur ye 10 SC/ST candidates agar General se jyada marks aur unki criteria puri karte ho to kya unhe Open category k liye consider kiya jaega??????

if u dont hav any vacancy in your category and hav all criteria of oc , u can apply for oc vacancies also.

I completed my 12th in 2008 n got 70% marks. Currently i am pursuing B.Tech which will be completed in this year. But they are asking marks as on 01-08-2011 which is mandatory to fill. So what should i fill in that column. Plz reply.

Gud Evng frnds.. if a candidate of reserved category score higher marks in wriiten n interview both, he/she comes get seat as general category candidate. and this helps other reserved candidate. and i pray that all reserved candidate gets higher marks.gud for all

there is nothing like OC category but it is Unreserved(UR) cat. Anyone who has eligible criteria can apply for those posts

@ navjeet 21 days will be given to join candiatates after declaration of final result by banks so that banks can declare second list early.
@ mukesh & all max qualification asked by indian bank is 50% in HSC. so if are grad its extra. so don’t worry apply.
