In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

during our clerk exam…..they said around 50000 to 80000 clerk vacany are their……but 7months gone no such huge vacany….also not yet single final result out……ibps wass up

i got 180. mee se aage 379 candi… hai . i hope top 150 will join as po. then my rank will come around 200.
Most banks are south indian based. they r geting huge huge vacancies. tamilnadu ktaka r lucky one.pnb is north based. i think delhi up punjab raj will get most of seat.

yes navjeet.today i receive mail from bom that interview on 09-07-12 at chandigarh and can download call letter from 03-07-12
results are out 2 days before what are u doing till now
bom sending mail to shortlist candidates for clerk interview. Interview from 09-07-12
as u have less competition in your state and your marks is also good that doesn’t give u the license to say anything u want to say to anybody by the way i am from bengal general category where the competition is very high but the seats are less so u should mind yourself
