In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

I’ll give u the answer… Being a clerk we are the one who should interact directly with the customers… If clerk dnt know the local language, how can he communicate??? Again, being a clerk if u are posted in any other state, u wnt be able to save anything….

there r 346 memebers above me

PNB to recruit 1454 POs n 3202 clerks soon… Clerk notification will come in 15 days… They are recruiting such huge number of POs now bcoz only a few attended their 1st phase interviews so they selected only 317 today instead of 775(as in notification…)

nahi yaar. They didnt mention abt graduation.
they may ask why this discrepency is there. but still u can satisfy them by ur suppoting documents. and rest all depends on authorities. u can talk to ibps official .

this is my message to all the west bengal candidates that all the branches of indian bank should be put on fire as they donot have a single seat for west bengal . if they don’t have a seat then the bank has no right to work in west bengal and what is mamta di doing is it also because of the presidential elections
