In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

IOB is chennai based bank and have good presence in AP, TN, KERALA,KARNATAKA region so there will be huge vacancy for the southern region in the IOB……i can’t say WB but there will not be more than 25 for gen cat. let’s see on 29 th….

Frnds irrespective of any category u belog, kinldy prepare urself for next ibps exam n score high i.e above 165 minimum to confirm ur final selection. as competition is high only high scorer will able to apply , even they r not sure if they will get interview call or not. Clerks r more in demand then po. wish u all the best. n may u all reach at the zenith of success.

i already called to the customer care of boi and they informed me that result will be displayed within 20 days after completion of interview process so hope for the best

You mean to say Corp. walo ko 355 PO vacancies me sirf 355-317=38 candidates hi mile. it’s unbelievable.
