In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

Yes u r right.. When i called them then they told me the same.. They said sb banks ne exams krane k phle y vacancies ibps ko di thi.. Aur ab bank apni condition dekh k change kr rhi.. Unhone united ki 1500 btai thi..
Maine ibps ki site se no. nikal k unko call kiya tha. Aur kafi force krne k baad call p 1 mam ne y btaya.

@AJ dude even i use u think d same wat u thnkng,as i evn gt source also bt (Ibps is hell)could b write as wat gng on write now…ofcourx……ab tak adhe banks ne notf. Diya aur jada seats kya 45k ka adha b nhi… Aur mere khayal se dobara notf. Frm same bank nt posible(i dnt knw dat)???so???i m tryin their no. Bt no response…..

PNB, UBI, Central aur Allahbad ki sabse jyada branches UP, MP,aur Bihar me hai, ab dekhte hai ye bank BOM, UNITED, Aandhra, BOB, COrp. ki tarah sirf apne state k liye hi vacancy wala pattern apnate hai ya kuch aur.
Again mene clerical ka minimum qualification graduation natak shuru kar diya.
