In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

BOI released state-wise and cat-wise cutoff on their website,
in mp there were 401 seats and they called 1461 candidates for interview.
they mantioned they have called 3 times the number of vacancies in each category for Interview.
shayad ye reason ho sakta hai, k jitne bhi candidates k equal no. of marks aaye hai un sabhi ko call kiya hai.
@fanish tumhe kaise pata chala, aur navjeet ka number mujhe boi ki list me mila hi nahi, aur tumne interview center bhi dhund liya.
I’m sorry mujhe nahi malum tha k tum dena bank ki baat kar rahe ho. Haan dena ki list mein navjeet ka number hai.

@prakash kumar yar eng ki jada tension mat lo…..PO meh hota prob. Bt clerk meh b eng samajh ani chahiye nt necessary fluent bolna,i gues u frm MP itni koi prob. Nhi hogi…..daro mat hv confidence n work on body language…..haklana mat,btw mp meh sab kaun c lang. Bolte hain?
Hindi is the State language of Madhyapradesh.
and maximum toppers & qualified candidates comes from “Hindibhashi” states.
So here is very tough competition.
