In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

IF YOU ARE AMONG TOP 2000 AND VACANCY IS ABOUT 1500 THEN SURELY YOU WILL BE SELECTED.

@Uday if score is good then check your state & cat TWSS cut off still your score higher appply for banks other prepare for next lbps
But nemish if some1 gets an interview cal then it depends on his/her to pul d things in his favour in interview…

When applying earlier there was no option for the place of interview but if anyone applied for andhra bank or applying for uco bank there is option for selecting the place of interview. Can I opt for Ahmedabad if I have applied for the vacancy from Haryana.

and there was 1600 seats in allahabad bank for po unfotunalty i was not in range but they have called more then 6500 and i am also in range of dena bank so you dont say this irrelivent talks to other without any authnatic data merit is lowering you can see in iob merit came very down …. so dont miss guide and not to try fear in other’s……

Yes they have to change the minimum educational criteria, to receive enough applications.
