In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

what i told u VINY,nagaland has only 1 seat for gen.i think for u.manipur-2.delhi26.orissa104.all states high cutoff.i don’t know who r going that 3rd category bank. they havenot interest clerk position.

frnds second cwe takto sochna b mat kyuki bankne jo currently new branches khole hai vo to unko bharna hi hai aur second cwe ka result december me aaega tabtak rbi ki guidelines ko follow karte hue en banko ko 40000 recruit karna hi padega.

@chitra al banks hv preference…comp. Cert. R in demand 4 almst al of them…….thos who dnt hv n got gud marks like 160+ vl b prob.,grad. Nhi ho toh b chalta hai par certif. Toh chahiye….agar u dnt hv jus join ek mahina bahut hai honestly 4 basics n ms office k liye…best of luck
