In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

@all.. Manish is right 1000 clerk vacancy..banks r goin to dissappointed mode..while po vacancies were 1100. so everyone hoping about 3000 clerk.. Bt they need only 1000 totally rubish uco bank.agar aisa hi tha then ibps ko maximum 80,000 paas krne chahiye the. Cutoff 24 ki jagah 30 aur cat ka 26 rkhna chahiye tha..

@sonakshi.. Banks mein 10 clerk p 3 po hote hai.. So clerk 3-5 chahiye hi hote hai..

Are yaar main y dekho na worker jyada hote officer km.. Aisa thode hota officer jyada worker km :D agar po jyada hote phir to branch manager aur jyada hone chahiye :D

Hi Manish don’t get disappointed yaar. You will surely receive call from more than 10 banks. So do not worry and just prepare for interview. Allahabad and pnb are coming with huge number of vacancies and mostly for northern region.

sala tum kitne years se clerk ka preparation kar rahe ho ye batao. koi bhi 1st ya 2nd attempt mein toh 205 nahiye la sakta hai. maine bihar ka cuttoff dekha aur tumhare baare mein hi soch raha tha. sar ke baal ude ki nahi tumhare, baal bache ho hi gaye hoge. freshers ka seat kyun khate rahte ho ? reply jaroor dena RANA VIKASH SINGH.

vacancy soon.. Bt when dnt knw. Frnd some ppl said ubi is goin to recruit 1527 vacancies.. They had some confusion in name becz united bank of india and union bank of india both wright themselves UBI. And Union bank of india clerk vacancy will be more arroun 5-6000.
Aj 10-15 list matlb.. Kaise how it is possible. And clear the rbi cercular effect.. Branch to branch hoti hai. Chahe banglore mein ho ya kacchi sadak k gaon mein.. Aur agar koi bnda y soche wo gaon nhi jayega.. Delhi jayega to wo galat hai.. Banks mein ab bht speed se tranfers ho rhe hai.. To kbi bhi khin bhi bheja ja skta hai..

Actually uco jaise 3rd grade ki bank mein logo k account to hote nhi hai.. Loaning wagaira aur schools colleges p depend rhte.. To unko clerk km chahiye hote hai.. Chaprasi po branch manager hi y sb kr lete hai :D
