In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

I have a question– why Nationalised banks are asking 55% marks in Graduation while IBPS has conducted CWE for PO and asked candidates to submit forms with only passed graduate candidates?

Dear Friend I would like to inform you that approximately 1.1 lakhs students had qualified the IBPS Po exams. So by putting such criteria like Marks in Graduation the banks are simply shortlisting the candidates and you can see that before IBPS common entrance exams bank used to put the criteria of 55% marks in graduation while inviting candidates for PO entrance exam
I would like to inform you that there is no written exam is going to held in syndicate bank . If you had qualified IBPS Po with aggregate marks of at least 138 in gen and 127 in other catagory you can register urself for Interview which is abt to be held by syndicate bank most probably in feb’2012. and it doesn’t matter at all that either u have applied for IBPS Clerk or not
u shld have at least scored 138/250 for syndicate and 151/250 for corporation bank
u must have got a mail confirmation at your refer mail id while registering for IBPS PO moreover u wld have got the roll number and exam venue at your mail id as well. So u are already having all the details
there is no such facility had been provided by IBPS. So unfortunately you are not able to get such information if you haven’t cleared the exam
Dear dnt be so disheartened , dont worry there are so many banks are still suppose to release their cutoff , if you had scored good in IBPS you would definitely get the benefit for the same , have patience and focus on your preparation for interview bcz by such mindset u wont b able to achieve that u want and deserve. Sir, roughly in this year how many vacancies are there in these 19 banks? I have 138. Will there be a chance for me? How further selection is done? how much mark is given for written test and interview separately?

there r more than 20000 vacancies. u will get a job. dnt worry. interview is for 50 marks. general students need to get 50% of the interview marks to get qualified finally
