In 2012, IBPS CWE for Clerks was conducted in Online mode for the first time in the second half of December 2012 due to the sheer volume of candidates who applied for this test. A whopping 40 Lakh candidates appeared during 2011, however, due to increase in the eligibility requirement to graduation during 2012, the number has declined significantly for the year 2012. Just like IBPS PO, common interviews for IBPS Clerk 2 (online mode) is also expected to be conducted by IBPS for the qualified candidates of online written exam.
The successful candidates will be arranged in the order of merit (based on total score including the common interviews) and based on the vacancies in each bank, will then be asked to apply according to their preferences and the candidate will receive an offer from one of the Participating Public Sector Banks through a computerized system. You can read in detail about the entire process – Notification for IBPS Clerk-2 CWE and Common Clerk Interviews.
The IBPS Clerk Result last year was released on 29th Feb, 2012, however, since the clerk 2 exam was conducted in online mode in 2012, the result of IBPS Clerk 2 came early on 11th Jan, 2013

vacancy unhone puri bhari hai.bas jo seat nhi dikha rha hai.wo physically handicapped quote ki hai.kyoki unki training alag se hoti hai.aur second ya third list tabhi ayegi jab koi alloted candidates join nhi karta ya fir koi new vacancy aati hai.samje dear.vacancy puri bhari gai hai.
Dear DK,
I m sorry to say, ur knowlege is not reliable.
According to u, they have filled all the vaccancies. Banks are holding nearly 30 to 40 % out of their vaccancy
It meanss 40000 out of 12000 to 14000 are handicapped. Do u think it is logical ?
Do not demotivate others. I m from banker’s family. All my relative told me they will recruit the candidates in their convenient way. It has been proved it.
In Haryana where competition is always low where cut off is 64.80 and bihar where competition is too high where cut off is 63.40. Do u think what is this even delhi 65.
In Haryana, banks are not able to recruit even 2011-2012 candidate in waiting list.
Do you think, they will call the candidate in a single batch.
Think logically. then put any comment on social site. Thanks dear. May God help u.
Dear Dk,
one more think logically.
IN Haryana, Indian overseas bank, they have 3 vaccancy for handicapped out of 18 but they had recruited only 13 out of total 18 vaccancy.
Now give me proper answer. what is this ?
Why they did not recruit 15 out of 18 as per your logic ?
Give me proper reply if u r able to justify your logic otherwise pls for God’s seek, do not make any comment because it discourages many hardworking candidates.
Thanks Dear. May God bless u.
@urfrnd there is also a possibility that ibps has alloted the banks against all the vacancies and now it’s upto the individual bank how many candidates or seats they fill in their recruitment…
Dear Ronak,
I would like to tell u, In Haryana, it is always low competition. haryana General cut off is 64.80 while minimum cut off for passing candidate is General is 56 while Bihar, where it has always high competition is 63.4. How is it possible ? PNB, Canara has not recruited even 1/4 of its total candidates because PNB already asking candidate to join in waiting list in 2011-12 Project.
Do u think, they will make the same mistake.
3rd Thing. IBPS Clearly mentioned that u have not got allotment in first round. It totally indicates that there would be more allotment. After that u can not believe my words that i can not do anything.
Dear Ronak, If banks is recruiting as per own requirement then ratio should be 50 : 50 or 60 : 40 Here the ratio is 70 : 30 Even we are not sure that all the allotments have been completed because above 65 from the beginning, we know are very less candidates in every state.
friend, Plz .tell me is there any chance for 2nd allotment .i have 58.6 from delhi OBC while here is cut off 59.8. I am very frusted
Dear,
U have 100% chance in 2nd list because we are expecting at least 2% to 3 % in delhi, Punjab, Haryana because cut off is really high specially General Category.
I am from Tamil Nadu. Here (in TN) minimum was 60.00 and maximum was 70.40. Mine is just 0.40 diff – 59.60. Tensed.
If there is a 2nd list then how long does the process take, believing this I had my future plans too including my marriage to settle off. But we think one thing and ibps decides other thing, feeling bad.
Is there any solution friend?
One more great News Guys.
United bank of india Total vaccancies 605
Joining 511
Vaccant 94*100/605= Apprmoimately 16 % because vaccancy r very low in this bank.
See Guys. Every bank has a direction to leave for some vaccancy. If major banks like PNB, Canara Bank which have more than 5000 vaccancy is all over india. If they leave only 15 to 20 % it would be more than 1000 vaccany in each bank will be left. we have five big banks like PNB, Canara bank, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank of india and Bank of india which have having more than 25000 vaccancies out of 40000. if they leave even 20 %. it means only vaccant vaccancy would be 5000 in these banks. u can expect rest 3000 to 5000 from rest of 14 banks which have low vaccancy.
out of rest 15000, if rest 14 banks vaccant only 15% then would be nearly 2500.
It means 5000 + 2500 to 3000 nearly 8000 vaccany would be vaccant and some candidates would also leave so approximately 10000 vaccancy for another two or three rounds of allotment till march 2014.
These calculations are logical. any doubt. pls mention. u r most welcome.
Dear All, as per another logic the banks
are going to fulfilled 70% vacancies of total vacancy so that each & every
bank should get the toppers in their branch. Suppose if preference given by all
candidate to Vijaya bank is last & banks fulfilled their 100% vacancy then in
such condition the vijaya bank get minimum score candidate in their branch which
will be wrong with this bank hence i think ibps has send list of only 70% candidates
against 100% vacancies of each & every bank so that each bank should get toppers
& remaining 30% list of candidate will be sent by IBPS later to each &
every bank. In this way each bank get mix candidate maximum & minimum in
their branch.Continue…..
