@santhosh,
i have a doubt that if reserved category with higher score will move to general vaccancy?
pls clear it out..pls
@ sneha
U have good foresight than I thought. U have the best solution- Affidavit. Then y do u still worry. Don’t raise questions in yourself abt this. Go ahead.
@resh,
normally in common exams, high scoring reserve category candidates marks will be considered as general category marks…. which will result in more seats for reserv cat.
i doubt it ll be appicable here !!
friends its clearly mentioned in the advertisement(ibps CWE 20120 about the eligibility criteria
“Please note that the eligibility criteria specified herein are the basic criteria for
applying to various Public Sector Banks. However merely applying for CWE/
appearing for and qualifying in the examination does not imply that a candidate
will necessarily be eligible for employment in all or any of the 19 Public Sector
Banks as each Bank will stipulate its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria.”
SO I THINK ALL THE BANKS ASK 60% OR 55%
THEREFORE…….STILL THOSE U GOT LOW MARKS IN CWE& INTERVIEW
BUT GOT MORE THAN 60% MARKS IN GRAD. THEY HD A GOOD CHANCE……
@suresh,
this ad was posted during the time of applying for IBPS PO2. however the selection process has been changed with the introduction of Common Interview !!
@santhosh pratheep,
u r right. bt is there any information regarding eligibity criteria????( in the new selection process)
@suresh,
so far no official news ..but i guess there will not be anymore eligibility criteria as the allotment ll be through a computerised system !
@santhosh pratheep,
PLZ READ IT…….

No. 10/30/3/2012-IR

Subject: Regarding methodology of Recruitment of Officers and Clerks to be conducted by the IBPS.
I am directed to refer to your letter dated 29.08.2012 and to your e-mail dated 18.09.2012 on the subject cited above and to say that the proposed scheme of IBPS regarding revised process for recruitment of clerical and officer cadre for PSBs has been examined in this Department. It has been decided to broadly agree with the proposed scheme of IBPS and further, convey as under :
i. IBPS and PSBs would ensure common eligibility criteria for all PSBs for subsequent examinations of Clerks and Officers as follows:
Age: 20-28 years (for both officer and clerical cadre)
Educational Qualification: Graduation or equivalent for clerical cadre & Graduation or equivalent with 60% marks for Officers
Others: Computer literacy mandatory for both Clerks and Officers
ii. there would be a common interview for all PSBs. IBPS will co-ordinate the conduct of common interview with the help of Nodal Banks and thereafter IBPS will declare the results;
iii relative weightage for written examination and interview will be 80:20.
This shall be used to decide the final merit list;
iv. IBPS will ask the candidates to provide the order of their preference of Banks. Based on the merit list and the order of preference provided by the candidate, candidates will be allotted to the Banks;
v. one time application fee of Rs. 400, for conduct of examination, interview etc. will be collected by IBPS;
vi. all common written examinations may be conducted on-line;
vii. one examination for each cadre may be held annually.
2. IBPS is requested to follow modalities for operationalising the scheme as decided in its meeting with HR Heads of Public Sector Banks on 14.09.2012.
3. IBPS may also ensure that this new format of Common Written Examination (CWE) is well publicized.
4. Further, before going ahead in the matter IBPS would ensure all necessary preparatory steps for introducing this new format of examination/recruitment process.
Yours faithfully,
(Manish Kumar)

Can some one please help me out regarding my OBC ranking, My reg No: 5000479983 & Score is 59.6
Hey sneha ! Is dis u preg**** at the time of interview? Reply urgent
The 5-5 banks will have 60% criteria , some will have 55% c5riteria. This is definite. Since some banks do not ask for % criteria so due to this reason IBPS notified for all Graduation passed candidates. This will be done automatically & IBPS will declare the notification for this.
@ cherry
sorry, but you really dont have any chance.
coz below 50% in graduation. bank will never recruit you.
one of my friend have same problem, performing well in exams but poor % in graduation. not employed yet. !!
