IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

actually reserved category guys and gals are being called in 1:5 and general category candidate are being called in 1:3 ratios…..
i am i 8th semester of engg. i am interested in bank job . what should be the procedure for applyingg? and,is it possible to give any sort of exams right now?

VERY RIGHTLY SAID AT D TIME OF SUBMISSION THESE HAD JUST ASK A PASS CANDIDATE AND NOW U CAN SEE. EK BAAT AUR AS I HAVE GOT 159 MARK AND BELONGING TO GEN I DIDNOT GET CHANCE IN UBI ALSO THE OTHER BANK WILL NOT CALL ME AS THEY R CALLING D CANDIDATE IN 1:3 4 GEN, SO ONLY SOME CANDIDATE WILL GET A CHANCE TO FACE INTERVIEW OF ALL THE BANKS. UNTILL UBI WILL NOT ANNOUNCE THE FINAL RESULT THERE IS NO ANY LIKE MY TYPE OF CANDI WHO SCORE MORE TAN 150 ND LESS TAN 160. I ALSO GET 60.75 PRCNT IN MY GRAD. WAT A FUCK….

guys i have resigned from my current job and serving a month’s notice which will get over in march…will i need a NOC for applying in BOB,UCO n others?? what should i do??

If it is govt. job u should provide NOC, otherwise(private) not required

Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai in 2011-12 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS.
Minimum Total Weighted Standard Score (as mentioned in the IBPS Score Card) obtained in the Common Written Examination for Pos /MTs 2011-12

FOR OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PWD :: 112

hi shilpi, syndicate bank has call 1:5 in his previous selections.
I think bank ,who conduct GD+PI will call in 1:5 ratio….
yaar ye baat tumhari bilkul sach hai.ya to ho jaye ya fir nahi ho, beech ka kaam bigada hua hota hai.
