IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

It’s Just a waste of money. Because they coming wd less vacanncy to select only high scorer.
@shilpi- u should focus on both for interview u just focus on ur educational,family or experience back ground As well banking system u cant focus dedicatly for interview(it doesnt required any prepration it just a personalty & mental test so u cant change in few days) and u dont knw wht they will ask so give more time to next IBPS & just few mints or hour in a day for interview. Hope you will get chance in this time only & chage the world of banking with all our expertise. All the best of all of you……

According to me all banks r selecting candidates on 1:5 basis I.E for each 5 candidates interviewed 1 will be selected..that is y IBPS has also passed 1 lakh candidates fr 20000 vacancies…
now evry1 will apply to diff banks and if the candidate is already selected in 1 bank, the other banks will remove them frm their list…
If this will be done then also all top rankers ll be selected first and fr 20000 vacancies may be top 30000 students can only get chance.
In short these banks r trying to make money frm evry1 by giving less TWS score eligibity criteria… so that evry1 applies and later the cut off fr interview is higher…
Mr. Lal i m sure 140+ will definitly get atleast 2-3 PI call but they must acheive high marks in PI to reach at final selection.
But Any one Guess what is TWS score of 30,000th student
Sir kindly let me know that what is the actual fee for general in bank of maharashtra and indian bank? Because in bank of maharastra there is a application fee of 200 but on the chalan it is 300 and same in Indian bank in adverisement application fee is 200 but in chalan Application fee of 200 and postage charge of 50
hey guys, i got 134 score in ibps, sc catagory, is der any chance of selection
it is 200 (application fee + postal charges) for general and 50(only postal charges) for SC/ST/PWD
All banks are asking for minimum 55% in graduation. I dont have but I had crack IBPS. What to do.
You need to have patience, i cant say any thing more than that…. best of luck….
Means your honours paper avg does not matter, find the avg of all paper(honours+subsidiary) then see your %tage, if it is minimum qualifying mark then u r eligible otherwise not…..

Dont worry nidhi, you can find challan on the official site of indian bank from the starting date or may be few days before also……. so you need to go any other place to take this……
You may get call from BOI, there is a great chance, but not sure, but be positive because there are number of candidate in between 55% and 60%, UBI called 165 while its grad mark ws 55% and BOI asked 60%, so you may get call……. best of luck….
wait for such banks that’ll not have this criteria…….

just wt I am also from gen cat with 160 .after selection of union, bank of india and s.b.i asso, large no of top rankers get selected.
union bank has selected in 1:3,but some banks not all call for interview in 1:5. Its right they make money from us but this his job to make money,these are financial institutions , they don’t leave any chance to make money.
But what about Bank of Maharashtra?
