IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

please give ur comments on this very imp topic- will score cards of the candidates be submitted when they get selected in ubi interview or will it happen after joining or will there be a particular date of confirmation whether a candidate is going to join or not? how will cut off list be lowered after ubi selection for other banks like syndicate, boi etc?

ur documents and scorecard will be retained by the bank only after u decide to join that particular bank. Before joining they ask for the documents for further formalities…..

so a candidate selected in ubi will get a chance to escape if he wants..?
Ya it is possible….. but not for too many times.Because there will be a gap between Result of a bank and Interview notification of the Bank…. U have to take the decision whether u want to join or not as u may not get a chance for other banks
joining will take atleast 1 month after selection…in that case candidate can attend interviews of other banks …but he’ll join in only one…then wat will happen?
Then the vacancy in other bank will not be filled.
But the candidate will get chance to attend interview of maximum 3 banks…… if the process will be going like u said
k thanks..one of my friends is in dilemma…confused whether to give ubi interview or not…ubi has tough bond conditions…he is more interested in other banks than ubi…his score is 169…
Tell him/her not to worry and just go for it. At least this will give him/her an experience…..
After that he/she could take the decision.

I dont understand why these banks declare cut-off so low for applying and for shortlisting so high when they know the marks of the candidates as well as the no of candidates passed from the specific category.
This is nothing but MONEY MAKING BUSINESS………
So Indian bank is also in the same process……..really disappointed
By the way BANK OF BARODA is also coming with 600 vacancies….

its very disappointing that india bank declared very less no. of vacanccies…
arre yaar that is the prob that all those guys who have scored high are applying in all the banks, i no a grl who is well placed in pnb as a po n has scored 182 in ibps, c s very eager to giv all the interviews inspite of the fact that c is adversaly affecting the candidature of others..
yaar they are making money out of our majboori..
true fr a low scorer like me whose score is 163, banks wud come and go with their vacancies without touching my score..
all this ibps thing is a crap..because only selected few will be interviewed every time and this will waste vacancies because a single person wud get selected in many banks.n v who have missed the bus by whisker will have to wait fr a 6 month long time period..
yes…i dnt know wat will happen to candidates who got less than 150…y hv they selected a large army?

Ya you r right, but through ibps, if one gets selected then he or she will not be able to apply for other throughout the year on the basis of that scorecard….

I had studied computer during my 10+1 & +2. Does that count for the required 60 hour computer course by UBI.
@Shruti If a Candidate Get Select in Particular BANK SUPPOSe in UBI and he JOined that Bank than HIs ScoreCARD wil Be Cancel and suppose some reason he Leave that Bank He Wont Be Able to APPLY to other Banks with SAMe CWE Score Card He Have To Written CWE-2 For Re Applying he have to Appear in IBPS-2 as i Told that All Banks Shud Call in 1:5 or 1:6 Ratio Or Call candidates Up to 130 So that If Higher Ranks candidates get Select than they can select Among Us i mean from Low Scorer i dun know wot the Hell these Banks r Doing
@Vinay In Banks they use COMPUTER as Data Entry NOthing else so dont Bother u have to Know Ms Office thats all

Last Year in 2010-11 Recruitment INDIAN BANK came with 1000 Po Vacancies 500 FOr General but this Year only 414 APni Kismet hi Kharab hai
upper Some One written BOB coming with only 600 PO thats very Less Wahi HOGa jo Baki mein hua
