IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

anybdy any idea when syndicate and corp will announce their cutoff????
are yaar pahale ibps-1 ke score card holders ke bareme soch ne ko bolo in ibps vaalon ko, vuske baad ibps-2 conduct karre
are yaar tu abhibi in bank vaalon ke baat pe bharosa rakh ta hai, vo bolte kuch hai our karte kuch our
i think its urs score, kisko pata chalega yaar ki lowest score tera hai ya mera
sirf bhagavan jane , nahi to e ibps wale
Total passed applicant 1.11 Lakh, in which 70% disquilyfied without giving a chance of Interview due expire of IBPS score card.
I hv scored 160 in general cat.Is there any chance to get a interview call from any bank………
@kirti- Yes u will definitly get chance 4 the interview.. Canara me jane ke liye prepare raho
last time in 2011 they take a student for interview in ratio of more than 5 (1000==5000) it may be cut off for general will be almost equal to ubi or some less than ubi 165
wo isliye ki gen ke 50% me koi v apply kr sakta hai obc, sc, st, koi v, per reserve k 50% me gen nahi kr sakte hai.

:Sad I got 161 in IBPS in General Category. Ab koi Chance nahi yaar UBI ki jo cutt off hai Wahi BOI PNB CANARA Syndicate Bank ki Hone Wali hai And Corporation Bank ki to pucho hi Mat i got only 24 in Discription Yaar mein apne ko glai de raha hu ki kyu mene Discription Ka Paper deriosuly nahi kiya and yes all we ppl r AVERAGE ppl apna koi chance nahi lagta kyu ki i think jo seats free rahegi they will fill by topers of IBPS 2 kya karu kuch samazh nahi aa raha
jiske bhi 165 se neche hai kya wo CANARA and PNb ka CHALAN katwa kar apply kar rahe hai kya?? kya karu i got 161 in gen category shud i apply 4 CANARA???

if sc /st got number equal to gen cat they consider as gen cat they selected on the seat of gen cat
are jiske 166 se neche hai kya wo CANARA bank mein apply kar raha hai kya UBi ki cut off to dekh hi li hai
no it is not right but if they take student in ratio of 5 or 6 times than it may be cut off will be low (last time they take interview in ratio of avob 5 (1000post=== 5400 student )in 2010-11 po exam)
abhi INDIAN BANK PO OBC PO Central Bank PO UNITED BANK PO ka bhi recruitment aane wala hai COz en sabhi ka 2011 ka recruitment nahi hua tha IBPS CWE ki wazeh se Pray karo ki Cutt off Nece jaye and IBPS 2 se pehle ho jaye

@prashant i assure u wll get chance for canara,& Bank of india…. i did some survey through ubi interview list 40% of persons had less than 60% ( dont ask how) provided that u got 60% for ug

I have applied for the Marketing officer (Scale 1) post through IBPS. Am I supposed to apply to the individual banks as well since i have seen few recruitments advetisments on union bank, bank of India and other few banks websites.

frnds hamara canara me bht acha chance h…….bcz canara ne gd b manga h..to man k chalo jaha intrvw me 3 out of 1 select hta tha ab 10 for 1 post available rhenge..bcz gd me 10 me se 2 ya 3 hi select hte h..
bs intrvw k liye prepare rho yar…abhi to 1st bank hi h…..pnb ka kuch kh nhi skte bht kam h vacancy…..bt yaro syndicate ka kya rha h cut off any idea…..
@ supriya yes you should apply for those individuals too…bcz rite nw we do not hv options…we hv to grab evry vacancy…evry option is crucial…like u applied in ibps..bt after 2 mnths exam will b cinducted, thn 3-4 mnths result, then next 2 mnths wait 4 vacncies… thn intrvw thn selection then joining.means 1 year is min. time.. bt if u r nt selected then nxt 1 year?… i thnk u got my point…grab evry oppertunity..

Aise bhi general ka cut off khud hi bahut high hai, but i think 140 ke paar sab ko ek na ek kam se kam intrvw face karne ka mauka zarur milega! Usi 1 me crack kar lena hai yaaro..

is 160 welcomes in boi..i hv doubt in it..???bcz it has lessor vacancy than ubi so cut off should b high……in mah opinion….

and bhai no i have seen many ppl got 35 to 37 in discriptive thats why Hum race mein peche reh gaye
any ways hope ki dusre banks kuch rahem kare
