IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. hi frens… i have a small doubt…if u can den clear me… I am from obc category… i means recently we are changed to OBC… and i have PWD certificate from many years… so i can pay PWD fees for banks?? i have applied for IBPS written exam in PWD category only.. including OBC.. but the fees displayed in IBPS application is 50/-.. so can i apply for banks in PWD??

I scored 195 marks (Weighted Score 164) cat OBC but I can’t appear for interview because i’ve less than 55% marks in graduation. Why has IBPS not issued such details while conducting CWE? It’s really disappointing that securing such good marks one can’t even appear for interview. What is the use of CWE? There may be many reasons for securing less marks in Graduation but is CWE not sufficient enough to judge the talent of a candidate or Banks don’t have enough faith and trust in CWE so they are playing their own cards. If banks are deciding such silly criteria they are not really interested in talent but something else.

i got TWS 157 cat OBC, BE-67%, what r my chances i m very much worried abt it pls pls help….

done graduation from calcutta university in bcom hons but at time of submission of online form to ibps igive thereof aggregrate marks 53%,but now i came to know in case of hons marks or divison calculated on hons paper , here i got 59.75% will i apply same marks to an individual bank, latter could bank terminate my candidature,reply me anyone who is expert in this field , please
The banks whihc have announced openings are their interviews date would overlap or not.

There are many PO aspirants who have cleared the IBPS PO exam but whose graduation-marks is below 50percent. The score secured by them will be of no use to if they cannot apply for the banks. All 19 banks except bank of baroda are asking for minimum 50-55% marks to appear for interview. All those who have cleared the IBPS exam but do not have the 50-55%in graduation will get a fair chance? At least the education eligibility of all banks should be according to the IBPS. The IBPS has cheated in name of 19 banks. Lets see what IBPS has to amend as more banks would advertise in coming months.
Dear Deepak, dont get upset protest cant help you. if u have quality(which shows in score) & preparation in the right direction can only help you to get job. i think you can get job even apply for few bank only. if you cant make it in 4/5 bank means you cant make it in all other bank so pls take my word & go ahead for interview u just need one stupid post yaar. if they wont considering your request means they r loosing the opportunity to get a good candidate. so be happy n try your best & feel you r the best. I hope it will work for you & few others also….
Dear frnd i show lots of candidate r getting frustrated on few criteria from few bank. but my view is little different. if a bank already setting a criteria for PI process. it is good who cant apply for a particular bank bcoz their money will not waste. if a bank came up without any eligibility criteria they will also impose some criteria for short-listing for PI bt they dont disclose right now.in this case all successful candidate will apply but get PI call a certain candidate only. so just think positive & if any of us will get any chance for PI feel this is the last chance where we have to select…………

Deepak…I am agree with you, we should go ahead and file a case against them.
I think first of all….we all should send a mail to ibps regarding the issue. A large number of mails regarding the same issue will definitely affect them and force them to take some action,If nothing happens then we can go ahead and file a case against them. I got 138 marks in IBPS score card, but there are only 49.20 % marks in graduaion. Sir, Iwant to know hw many chance to pass the interview & hw many banks are invite the application without any % bar.
look dear kritika dese marks will matter wen u’ll appear in interview but 4 dat u should clear the crieteria to be called 4 interview…..
u’ll have to wait for some other notices of banks who will ask for less % dun wry all da best for upcoming notices………..
This is highly ridiculous….I scored 163/250(195/300) in IBPS but cannot apply in any of the banks because of this mandate of scoring 55% in graduation….due to some personal reasons i scored less in grad…but such mandates prove that once a dumbhead always a dumbhead !!! though my score might b far more than many scoring 55% in grad but still…IBPS kindly mention such conditions in notice so that students don’t waste their money and energy in such examinations….

I got 157 marks and 72% marks in graduation…from how many banks i can get a call for interview..am from gen category….

Bcos in the ibps advt there were no such criterion of percentage of marks, and after declaration of result, every Banks is now demanding 55% and 60% of marks @ graduate. what is this? If they were so required, why didn’t they tell earlier. It is against Article 14 of INDIAN CONSTITUTION.
PLease go 2 the court.. U will definitely get the natural justice.
same problem lost application form ……but in UBI notification it is mentioned tht if v dnt hv d online form dey will clearly reject us ……kya karein some1 help…
