IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

presently it is 23,000 to 24,000 not more than that,pay revision is possible in near future then it would be 31,000-33,000.
army me baat alag he wahan allowances is double than the basic pay and D.A of respected posts.
no brother it is 22,000-23,000 in the initial stage excluding house rent
Buddy, If u have get 28000 u have to put atleast 20 years of service which is ur half lifetime
sipahi get 13k..subedar gets approx 30k..n a Lt(youngest officer) gets 42k
it will be 30000-35000 hopefully after 10th bipartite settlement wef 2013.but now it is 23000-24800

dis is d present salary structure..mera aadha khaandan army main hai..so i knw d salary structure of army very well..army main benefits bahut zada hai agar unke add karenge to achcha package hojata hai bt they r not a part of salary..

why were you laughing…no bank give u 22,000 as a po. if it has mentioned such then after other perks it will reach 30,000
take an example punjab and sindh bank gives starting salary as 25400 and adding perks it will cross 30,000 and if house rent is included it may cros 35,000 psb is an avg bank

intake salary of po at initial stage is maximum of 24000.

but dont u people think that there should be a balance between officer and sepahi in any govt jobs
po salary is too low for comparison with any other govt job
those who r getting basic of 5200 r drawing 25000 per month and even more than that only due to better allowances in central govt
haa reyaz so to hai par us hisab se po ki salary kam se kam allowances ke sath 40000 tak to honi hi chahiye
itne profit ke bawajud bhi salary itni kum nahi honi chahiye
jo log it sector se job chod ke yahan ate hain unme se kai aise bhi hai jo 60000 70000 per month kamate hai phir bhi sirf job security aur working hrs ko dekhte hue wo log bank join karte hain tumhe nahi lagta ki ye salary structure unhe confuse aur frustrate karta hoga
