IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. My score is 160 gen.Initially it looked very good.Lekin ab nirasha hi hath lag rahi hai.
We sh’d join together & do something.
@all i have got 165 gen nd my grad %age is 52% , till now only got to face dena bank interview , which is totally centered about my family background ,a couple of ques from accounts out of which i dont know 1 nd answered 1 and rest 4-5 ques abt my previous experience i.e, abt demat nd share trading. keeping fingers crossed…..

jay canara bank ka gd topic was easy the.unke liye koi studies ki zarurat nai hai..my topic was.”is television hampering reading habits?” they gave time to everyone to speak..n interview bhi bahut friendly tha even if agar ans nai depare the to wo log keh reh the ki koi nai chalo doosre ques ka ans dedo..n 5 log the panel main..as m frm finance background so mujhe thode finance k ques pooche..they also asked abt family background, my views on reservation den dey asked me ki how can we make our services batter in comparison to private banks n how wil u motivate ur juniors..

mein aapke gd aur interview k marks puch raha hun. aapke 100 me se gd mein kitne aaye hain and interview mein kitne aaye hain mein yeh puch rha tha.
after canara interview i realized that tws is secondary in selection process
one important thing is how to handle or guide a group when there is trouble or lack of leader and for interview the board member try to detect any hidden things in u

wats ur score in gd and interview. aapke gd aur interview me kitne marks hain..
yes recruitment process is not upto the expected level
process is slow,not clear , in my opinions banks are a bit selfish,
3 or 4 marks variation in tws is not an issued it can be covered in gd and interview
there r a lot of candidates who scores a little high tws and lack of personality on the other hand many candidates r there whose scores is less by 3 to 5 marks, it may be due to question selection on that particular day, and having good personality leadership quality etc. so bank need to consider it,if they rethink such problem it will be good 4 all of us.
gd score more than intvw. my intvw was better than gd according to my opinion
Hi frnds wt is this happening in banking sector, they r following an illegal process for requirement.
Let see how is it so.
According to d Indian low the process should be as like,
First of all bank should select all higher ranking candidates from d list, where all d candidates (GEN, OBC, SC or ST) should be given chance equally.
And then should go for other categories like OBC, SC or ST
But wt they r doing right now, they r just separating all category differently and if there is no vacancy in any state for ST category and one candidate has 205 marks out off 250,
in dt case having good marks he cant apply for interview because there no vacancy in dt state,
while cutoff for Gen cat is only 180,
How shame it is that toppers also have to apply according to their category, if there r no vacancy for dt category they r not able to apply for interview

Just think about. It is nothing but just a game of calculation
jin logon ka ek bhi ban mein ho gaya wo bahut lucky hain kyun ki jaisa hamne socha tha ki cutoff niche ayega uske thik ulta ho gaya pnb 174 ab to lagta hai ki logon ko next ibps mein 172 tak rakhna padega tab jake 4-5 bank se call aa jaye aur pata nahi agli baar itni vacancy hogi bhi ya nahi
seats to iss saal bhi kafi vacant jane wali hai par bank walon ko iski koi parvah nahi
aur 170 ke upar score karna its not a joke, its really a tuf ask
