IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

Bank Rate: RBI takes from bank for long term loan.
Repo Rate: RBI takes from bank for short term loan i.e. generally half or 1 day…
MSF: Little bit confused but itna pata hai ki ye repo se 1 jyada hota hai…

bank rate- RBI TAKES LOAN FROM BANK FOR MORE THAN 90 DAYS.
REPO RATE-RBI takes loan from bank for less than 90 days.
marginal standing facility- overnight lending ..to maintain liquidity..matlab baNK K PAAS achanak cash ki shortage hojaye to wo bas ek raat k liye lending RBI SE kartA hAI..hota ye LAF(LIQUIDity ADJUSTMENT FACILITY ) jaisa hi hai but faraq ye hai ki isme bank net demand aur time liability ke 1% equal hi loan leta tha(now raised to 2 % in budget 2012-13)..is loan ko lene k liye bank ko 24 % SLR maintain karna bohat zaruri hai.
it means ki abhi tak LAF aur MSF rate me 1 % ka diff hota tha..but ab 2 % ka rahega.
present LAF rate= 7 %
and present MSF= 9 %

maine to padha tha ki Repo Rate is the rate at which Banks borrow from RBI (for less than 90 days)
but both of u are saying that RBI borrows under Repo Rate

Ye jo aapne likha hai ki RBI takes loan.. ye aap sure ho kya… kyuki mujhe lagta hai ki Bank jo loan leta hai RBI se uspar RBI jo interest leta hai wahi na Repo aur Bank rate hota hai…. matlab long term ke liye liye gaye loan par jo interest RBI leta hai bank se wo Bank rate aur Short term ke liye jo loan bank leta hai RBI se uspar RBI jo interest leta hai wo Repo rate…
Nahi bhai.. theek se mere comment dekho.. maine kaha hai ki RBI jo rate leta hai other bank se.. matlab other bank ko rbi ke dwara diye gaye loan par… aisa likha hai maine…

@Lal: Bhai maine Uco HR ko phone kiya tha usne mujhe mere marks bata diye general ki total cutoff 232.75 rhi UCO me usne mujhe mere general ki list me number bhi bataya(kind of general rank) unke paas waiting list already hai aur kaha ki WL jaldi aayegi.

Aur batoo ki mai age ke interview du ki nahi matlab IOB etc ke
kyoki agar south de diya to mere haath me kuch nahi rahega
