IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

canara bank ask the sc cutoff is 146&above in the individual subject they are asking 21&above.iam confused individual subject is out of 50 or 25.my score is 137 in individual subject i got 21 above whether iam elegible to apply the canara bank or not please tell if anybody knows

I THINK THAT IBPS EXAM HAS BEEN HELD TO GENERATE INCOME FOR THE BANKS AND IN THIS LIST OF 19 BANKS UNION BANK AT THE TOP MOST LEVEL BECAUSE OTHER BANKS HAS GIVEN THERE CUTOFF BEFORE FILLING THE CHALLAN AND THIS BANK HAS GIVEN JUST THIS THING THAT ALL VALID SCORE HOLDER ARE ELIGIBLE IF NEAR ABOUT 100000 SCORE HOLDER WIL GIVE 200 RUPEES THEN THEY WILL EARN RS 20000000 SO I THINK THEY JUST5 EARNING MONEY DUE TO THIS EXAM SO FRIEND LET US DONATE OUR PARENTS SAVING TO THESE BANKS

AND THE OTHER CONFUSING THING IS THAT THEY HAVE GIVEN WEIGHTED SCORE IT DOSEN’T NEED THEY HAVE TO GIVE ONLY THE TOTAL NUMBERS THIS WEIGHTED SCORE IS CONFUSING THE STUDENTS

u should hv applied common sense when der r arnd 1 lac candidate having valid scorecard holder h0w can they call all of them for just 2400 post.
der r arnd >15 thousand candidates having score more than 150 so only those candidates should hv applied for this. bt i can see candidate scoring even 100 TWSS have also applied for UBI.

Hame kya apply karne ke pahle sapna aaya tha ki 15000 r having more than 150 marks, Baat to aise bol rahi ho jaise UBI me abhi se JHAADU-PONCHA ke liye rakh liya hai tumhe..
This is correct information for applying in canara bank.
If you belong to general category then you are not eligible in canara bank.

As we seen in the case of ubi and can xpect from other banks also tat d cutoff for the interviews will be high…so just wanted to ask tat what we should do …continue applying to d banks or look for d other options…any suggestions…
i am also not short listed for union bank po.. people who got less than 150 must prepare for next IBPS.. APPROXIMATELY 10000 people shortlisted for UBI.. for UPcoming banks also only these people who qualified for UBI will again qualifies.. people who got less than 150 dont waste your money and time by applying for bank jobs… every bank is cheating us
would any one say , PNB is asking for aggregate 60% or 60%
I got 136 TWS OBC category and I think I will not get any interview call from any Bank So when IBPS next notification expected?

union bank has the list of all IBPS SELECTED CANDIADATES and their marks ..how did they mention in their advertisement that every one can apply who is having valid ibps score card.. then every one applied, they just make us fools after selecting only people having more marks >150.. then what about people who got less marks.. even govt banks are also playing with unemployed citizens of india.. banking mafia
