IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has changed the way bank exams are conducted in India. IBPS now conducts a common written exam (CWE) for PO selection in 19 participating PSU banks in India. These exams got tremendous response with over 7.5 Lakh applicants in IBPS PO / MT Exam held on 17 June, 2012. This post is intended to provide information on all aspects of IBPS PO Recruitment at a single place and it will cover IBPS PO Exam, Admit card / Hall Ticket, Call Letter, IBPS Results for Bank PO, PO Score cards, IBPS PO Study Material, IBPS PO Interviews, IBPS PO Job Notifications from various banks in 2012 and 2013.

Reconciliation is an accounting process used to compare two sets of records to ensure the figures are in agreement and are accurate. Reconciliation is the key process used to determine whether the money leaving an account matches the amount spent, ensuring that the two values are balanced at the end of the recording period.
In banking perspective reconciliation means the process of ensuring that one’s personal records of transactions on a bank account matches the bank statement one receives each month or quarter. That is, each time one writes a check, uses a debit card, or otherwise makes a withdrawal from or deposit into a bank account, one keeps a record of the transaction. Account reconciliation involves making sure that these records match the bank’s of the same transactions. Account reconciliation helps avoid, or at least provides remedy to such problems as identity theft and bank errors.

Totally agree.Ibps is a bad system.Old system was much better.I got 155 in po from obc but still to get any interview call.

Reconciling the bank account is simply the process of verifying that all the items you have entered into your books agree with what the bank statement shows and that you have accounted for all items such as checks written, bank charges and credits, and deposits made.
IT SIMPLY MEANS THAT FIGURES ENTERED IN UR BOOK MATCHES WITH THE BANK STATEMENT.
bahut sahi dear.. Maine bhi mock isliye rakha tha taaki sab apne apne tarike se bataye… Example bhi agar bataya jaye to jyada sahi rahega samajhne me.. Main ye nahi kehta ki google search, wiki ye sab mat karo.. Ye sab karo par yaha apne hisaab se answer do… Tinku bhai jis tarah answers dete hain usi tarah wo bhi examples ke sath.. I hope ki koi mind nahi karenge..

issme vo sabhi economic transactions recored hoti hain jo ki occur hui hain between the country maintaining the record and rest countries of the world within a year.
isse country ke international position ka pata chalta hai aur MONETARY POLICY,FISCAL POLICY & TRADE POLICY BANANE ME HELP MILTI HAI.
